Not only is this a pastry and coffee shop as well as a delicatessen, but it is also a bakery known for making one of the best maraquetas in the barrio. Order your coffee and pastries below(or even grab the ingredients to make a delicious sandwich) and enjoy it on your way to work. If you have the time, I recommend going up to their second floor where you can relax with your coffee and read a book. If you are not in the mood for coffee, I recommend getting their hot chocolate — really sweet and delicious. Dulce tiempo is always bustling with people who are either coming to or from work — you will even find a pair of tourists who stay in the apart-hotels next door enjoying a coffee in their patio during the weekend. I recommend trying their yogurt cake or panqueque naranja cake. They offer a long list of pastries such as donuts, alfajores, cakes, muffins and brownies. Although most of their pastries are good, their torta de lucuma is on the dry side, so if you order it make sure to grab a coffee to help it down. They also serve different types of coffee both sweet and strong. Like I mentioned earlier, they are best known for their fresh baked bread(their maraqueta is the best when it is warm and fresh out of the oven) you can accompany the bread with any of the cheeses or deli meats they sell. Although this is a great place to grab a coffee or pastry, I don’t recommend it for working. They have WIFI but it is not the best. Tip: Make sure to come before the«once» rush, as a line will form sometimes so long it goes out the door!

Si bien la calle San Isidro en rigor no es una peatonal, su transito cotidiano sumado a un agitado comercio ambulante, le han convertido en un verdadero paseo sobretodo en horario punta. Y por lo mismo este Café está muy bien ubicado, con mesas en la calle rodeado de plantas más quitasoles que marcan el espacio para poder generar un ambiente con algo de intimidad en medio de ese ajetreado ir y venir de personajes. La reina es la marraqueta, que destaca por sobre las panaderías del sector por su crujiente cubierta y masa con la contundencia precisa. La primera vez que me senté a tomar desayuno ahí fue porque estaba recién pagado y quise darme un gusto junto mañanero. El desayuno que ofrecen es jugo natural más un sandwich de queso caliente, jamón, oregano con medialuna y un café de máquina bastante bueno. Todo por dos mil novescientos pesos. Al interior hay señal para conectarse a Internet, el cual funciona algo lento en medio de música que personalmente no me agradó: Regetón y cosas tecnopop fuera de contexto. Destaca eso si, la buena atención y el poco tiempo que transcurre entre el rato que uno pide y cuando llega todo junto a la mesa. Aunque es un poco caro, les recomiendo probar los pasteles de milhoja, manjar nuez, chocolate, frambuesa, que son de maravilla.
