T Puro

Al principio, sentí que T Puro era el Starbucks del té. Vas, eliges una mezcla de té, leche, especias varias, etc. Pagas y te lo entregan en la barra. Pero en verdad las mezclas que ofrecen son muy ricas, mi favorito: Be Green Chai Latte, una mezcla de chai, leche y miel.
Para quienes no disfrutan del té también ofrecen café, jugos y variados pasteles y sandwich.
Es un lugar muy tranquilo para estudiar o para juntarte con amigas a tomar el té de la tarde.

Located on the main street of Alameda and on the first floor of the prestigious MBA building of La Catolica Univesity, T Puro is one of the best spots to get unique blends of tea in the centro.
Although located in the campus, luckily T Puro is not just for students or professors (I actually see tons of parents with kids here too)! It is however, a perfect place to work and/​or study since there is a good amount of white noise, comfy couches as well as strong WIFI!
They have their own brand of tea, and they let you mix and match to create your own blend of tea leaves to bring home! Although they have a ton of leaf tea options, I am a particular fan of their Chai Tea — it is strong and flavorful. When I am in a caffeine-​free mood (rarely) I love their Rooibos, a South African blend that has a flavor similar to Earl Grey but fruiter.
Besides their great selections of teas (both cold and hot) they have some delicious treats to snack on as well as lunch items such as salads, sandwiches and daily soups — I recommend their pumpkin soup, it is delicious!
Tip:
There are both bike and car parking, but I recommend coming in metro since it’s a half block from La Catolica stop.
It is sometimes closed during marches so keep that in mind when deciding whether or not to come visit.
