This restaurant is located about 50 metres from the sea and has a spectacular view. You can eat outside in summer on their beautiful terrace. The food is unpretentious, delicious new Nordic cuisine and the wine list is excellent. The service is impeccable and yet the atmosphere is relaxed. If in Copenhagen treat yourself to a meal here.

I had mixed fellings about Charlottenlund Fort, the first time we came here we didn’t have a reservation and the sunday brunch time was about to end so we went in to check what was left in the buffet and see if we could get a table. Well, there was a table, but when we were checking out the buffet we saw people grabing the stuff from the buffet with their hands(yuck!) and staff didn’t say anything to them, so we left. We came back a second time, since the place is beautiful and the food looked good, this time with early brunch reservations(at least less people would have touched the food). Good decision. The food was delicious, although not a large variety, the dishes they had were all good and fresh(loved the salmon and the mushroom tarts) and this time there were no rude clients getting food with their hands. The place is the highlight, beautiful seaviews, cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Prices are average so it’s one place to come back to.

Had brunch here(buffet style) on a very busy Sunday morning. The selection of dishes is limited, however everything is fresh and tasty. Their homemade Nutella is just to die for! Plenty good coffee, OJ and applejuice. Amazing waterview and I can just imagine how lovely it must be sitting out on the terrasse on a sunny sommer morning

I have been here several times so far, with small and large parties. I had very good experiences in all times. They usually have a special of the day four course menu besides their current itemized menu. Having tried both options, I actually liked picking individual items from the menu rather than the pre-set four course menu. The pre-set one was very Danish, appetizer with Danish fish eggs(yeah, Danish caviar!), smoked salmon with cucumbers, Bornholm chicken and a mazarin cake. They all tasted very good but again it is pretty Danish. On the individual items from the menu, the foie gras appetizer is the best and the lamb dish is also very good. This place makes their own green sauce called«klorofyl»(!) and it is delicious, they serve it with few dishes together. Overall, setting is unmatched with Oresund views, atmosphere is cisp and chic, and the servers do a really good job. We were suprised to be asked how our food was during the meal(you don’t always get this in Denmark). Approximate $: 500DKK/person(appetizer, main course, a bottle of wine shared)
