The house of Amber is a very small museum but very nice one. I cannot say how mush it cost as I didn’t pay because I had the CPH card, but if you like jewellers or amber, well, go there. The museum is very small, so in 10 minutes you see everything. If you have enough DDK you can shop nice necklaces or bracelets over there, I have to say: it is pretty cool. They have also toilets inside, just in case, you might want to know. If you are looking for a nice souvenir to bring back, why don’t shop At the House of Amber?

Went there as I purchased the Copenhagen card, so I was admitted free of charge. Probably if I had to pay to enter I wouldn’t. You can seen a collection of ambers spacing 2 floors, with description in English on each piece. Staff was friendly and gave us a small paper guide in English. On the ground floor, there is a shop where you can purchase jewellery and other items made from amber.

Came here wanting to buy a small certified amber piece for my home. Was in a big rush because I needed to catch a bus. Staff was very friendly — helped me pick an item, pay, and leave with a tax-free certification within 10 minutes. Shop has a wide variety of items — jewelry to showpieces — in a variety of price ranges(starting from ~295DKR). There is also an amber museum, but didn’t have a chance to visit. Bottom Line: Stop buy here if you want to buy some certified amber.

Terrible service. No genuine connection with clients — very money driven and service only the better-dressed. No post-sale services either. Not worth the price tag or your while.
