The prices are so high it’s a bit ridiculous. I didn’t find the people to be super nice either, but the food is really good. They also sell sweets like licorice, and salad dressing type stuff. Nice place, but what turned me off was the staff.

Who’s the lucky lady who just discovered that her new apartment is around the corner from Meyers Deli??? :) Let me count the ways in which this makes me so happy: 1. Probably the best bread in town. I know many people will disagree with me on this topic, but they make their bread using sourdough, and it’s dense, and moist, and makes my tummy happy, whereas other bakers’ breads make me feel full and bloated and sluggish. Sourdough FTW. 2. They also sell soups made with real ingredients(seriously, like, they don’t put sugar in their soup, and they use real olive oil, instead of processed vegetable oils). They sell them for 50kr a piece, which means when I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to cook, Meyer’s got my back. 3. They have coffee, though I am still inclined to walk a couple blocks further to Coffee Collective to scratch that itch, but when in a jam, I’m covered. The moral of the story is, you pay for what you get, folks, and this place is my fav.

Meyers Deli is one of several in a chain of delis in Copenhagen. They do serve some very good and tasty simple dishes, salads and bread as well as pastries. The prices are a bit on the high side to warrant a better rating but they do what they rather well. Coffee is from local roaster Estate coffee but the craftsmanship may not always be the best but it is still some pretty good coffee. The key at Meyers that makes it a bit better than the average deli/café is that they always use fresh ingredients and also prepare most things on order.
