I’ll add an English review here. We lived in Copenhagen for six years until May of this year down near the Førum Metro. On many occasion, Momma just didn’t want to cook for her two boys and myself and it was time to consider take-out. Not eat-out mind you because my two boys can’t always be depended on to be at their best round the table. But when it came to take out, Saigon Quan was always one of the top options. Before we had a car, yours truly was the man pedaling the Christiania bike up Godthåbsvej to do the pickup. I’m told that there are menu items in the restaurant that are not available for take away. According to my wife, there are some fabulous ones. In general, I can’t say anything bad about any of the food. It was all good. We usually would get the fresh spring rolls as a starter. But one dish that we never went without and I get hungry just thinking about is my main reason for providing my review. Can’t find it anywhere else in Copenhagen and it’s just delicious. That is #23 on the take-away menu. It’s the«Stegt oksekød med skovørevampe, glasnudler, løg kydret med karry of jordnødder.» In English, it is stir-fried beef with onions in this absolutely delicious yellow curry sauce with glass noodles. We would get double orders and I couldn’t even be polite about sharing equally with my children. I tried to fill them up on starters and other entreés so there was more for me.
