The Aviator Lounge is Copenhagen Airport’s general lounge, meaning it is the one that is accessible to people who travel on a number of airlines, or have specific credit cards or similar. There’s a specific SAS lounge as well it you travel with them. It is brilliantly located, one floor up right smack in the center of the airport. Couldn’t be easier to get to anywhere in the airport from here, and you’ve got an enjoyable view of the runways and the terminal below. It is by far not the best lounge I’ve been in, but definitely not the worst(that’s right, Lufthansa Business Class Lounge in Frankfurt Airport, I’m looking at you, here!). It’s just not very remarkable. The food is OK, but choice is somewhat limited. Seating is good, and there’s a nice, hushed ambiance there, great for relaxing or working. But you’ll find better food and drink elsewhere, though of course not for free. This lounge, to me, is a sign of just how egalitarian the Danish society is. Because the thing is, when you walk into the Aviator Lounge in Copenhagen Airport, the first thing you notice is how NOT very different it is from the rest of the airport. Sure, it has free coffee and snacks, free newspapers, and better chairs, but it has the same décor, the same view of the runways(something many airports reserve for the lounges exclusively), and even the same free wifi! Which is as much as testement to how great an airport CPH is. If you’re just on a quick stop-over, I wouldn’t bother with this lounge. CPH is a nice airport, and you can spend quite a bit of time exploring the shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for a full meal, I wouldn’t bother, either. Go to MASH or Le Sommelier, right next door(MASH) and one floor down(Le Sommelier). And if you don’t get access to this lounge for free, I wouldn’t bother. It’s nice if you have a bit of time to kill at the airport, to sit somewhere quiet in a comfortable chair, and with plenty of power outlets for your stuff, but not something I’d pay the cover charge for.

Seven months later, not much has changed. The lounge is still tired and the offerings are basic. It is in a good location and the lounge attendants are friendly enough. It also beats being out in the chaotic gate areas especially if you happen to arrive early for your flight. If you can get in free with your airline status, it is worth coming in. However, I would think twice if you have to pay for entry.

This is one of those times negative stars would be an appropriate option if available. CPH is a very luxurious airport with mainly high end amenities and stores in the main public area. Therefore, I wrongly assumed the Aviator airport lounge would surpass the public amenities. Where do we start? The most important feature for me was internet access. Most lounges have highly available and robust business class internet, different from that of the mainly public free available wifi at the airport. However, that isn’t the case with Avaiator lounge. I was blown away when I asked for the internet access, that I «should use the public airport wifi». Which I did try to use, it was unusable for anything reliable other than google. The furniture is decrepit and filthy, the seating is very tight and therefore loud and stressful. The A/C is non existent and I can say for fact that it was much hotter in the lounge than it was in the public shopping area just outside of the lounge. The food selection? What food selection it was just bins and bins of stale bread sliced with packages of butter as the only option as spread. Other than that, I think there were apples and a block of cheese. Drinks? I didn’t stay long enough to have any spirits, however, the family were interested in getting some bottled water but there weren’t any. You have to use the tap water with filthy glasses or at least looked filthy like they have been re-used for decades and never replaced. That’s not to say the one staff member they had on hand wasn’t working hard, that’s the only thing positive I can say, he looked like he was working furiously to wash cups(that have no hope of looking good) and stock stale bread. The other family friendly drinks were orange juice that have the consistency of a powdered drink in water(like that in Holiday Inn Express) and other comparable fluids. The front desk especially were equally disappointing. They had the warm personality of a snyde robot and not helpful nor pleasant by any stretch of the imagination. The other reviewers are correct that CPH already is such a pleasant airport, one should bypass this particular lounge and still have a very comfortable time in the public area. However, I don’t have any suggestions on what a business traveller would do if they need highly reliable internet.

What a boring and busy lounge! The ladies at the check in were moving in slooow motion… followed by basically a huge bread station with nothing to put on it, ok one type of cheese and ham, and some bad coffee and drinks. The seating was crowded and stressing me out. We ended up leaving and getting better coffee outside the lounge.

Unless you get free access it’s not worth spending money at this lounge. Very small choice of snack and or drink. Space isn’t am that big and not enough powerport. Bathroom is a mess and kids are always running around(where are the parents?) I don’t think cellphone usage is prohibited so gets loud. Only good thing going for is location, and you might get your own seat and or space, other than that I wouldn’t recommend this lounge.

This lounge is located perfectly for travelers transferring from one terminal to another or just in the same. It is in the middle of everything. It is rather large and has a decent(but somewhat dull) selection of snacks and drinks — for being an ordinary lounge for Priority Pass holders(among others). I do not see it being worth it to pay to get in though(if that is possible) other than if you are planning heavy drinking to «save money». Or maybe for easy access to wifi. I like the overview of the transfer hall. Also, do not sit«down stairs»(by the windows to the airfield) if you want peace and quiet, because this area tended to be like a running track for kids when I was there because of it’s layout. Since you need to register for free wifi at the rest of the CPH-airport it is nice to have easy access to the lounge where no registered account is needed. Piece of papers with passwords for free wifi is at check in. You’ll need one password each for every device you have.
