It’s been feast or famine along the Whiskey Belt. Either haute cuisine or the gas station. Until now. In Taarbæk there’s a classic takeout grill and an Indian place. And now in Klampenborg there’s Thai. They just opened, so this is a first impression. Clean and white, conveniently located behind Strandvejen at Klampenborg station, Krua Thai take away is for those, like me, who want good normal-priced cuisine that’s different from the meat-and-potatoes routine. And did I mention it’s Thai? Yes! We had mini chicken egg rolls, chicken satè with peanut sauce, green curry and noodles with beef and coconut chicken lemongrass soup. The ingredients were tasty and good quality. The service was friendly, and there are two or three tables. Nothing dramatic here except that it’s here at all. And it’s good. And that’s worth a strong recommendation and wide support.
