Cinemateket

Could easily give den Cinemateket five stars if only I knew this place a little much more. But I’m slowly aiming to that!
Came here for the first time last night at a Filipino Queer Film Festival screening and got really into it.
The space is nice, neat and big enough to contain a cinema, a restaurant area, some sofas with tables, a ground floor where exhibits take place, bathrooms and some memorabilia dating to when cinema was growing up in the early ‘10s.
The design is new, Van Der Rohe-​ish, pretty cool to be a cinema. Coming from the land where standards might be slightly (sarcasm) different, I really enjoyed it here.
Movies are high quality (along with the audio and the video themselves), staff is nice.
Prices, on the other hand, could be a little higher for European standards. It’s about 100kr for a single ticket, but this rate can be cut down to 45 if you’re a student and show your ID card. You can also subscribe your fidelity cars, and this’ll give you discounts and so. Which is nice.
In conclusion, come here and enjoy a nice night out with friends, popcorns and a soda. That’s a must :)

I really enjoyed my trip to Cinemateket! I went with my film club to see «Under the Skin,» and was amazed by the huge screen and the audio quality! I also had a slice of lemon cake from the restaurant in the building, and it was phenomenal! I would definitely like to come back here :)

Dejlig biograf! En af de bedre i København. Desuden har de ofte events med visning af kortfilm og lignende.
Deres restaurant SULT serverer lækker brunch i weekenden, som virkelig kan anbefales, selvom den er lidt pebret.

Pink Floyd bruser en i møde. Animation og Bob Geldorf I barsk og uskøn blanding. Det er bare noget helt andet at se «The Wall» i biografen end på en tv-​skærm. Det er stærke sager. Og i biografens mørke går musik og billede rent ind.
Det er forcen ved Cinemateket. Muligheden for at se klassikere på stort lærred og med god lyd.
Det er jeg ganske enkelt fan af.
Det er altid værd at holde øje med Cinemateket. Her er der kun store filmoplevelser på programmet og ofte med et lille foredrag eller præsentation af filmen først.
