I am a loyal Mac cosmetics user. I regularly purchased from them while living in the States and planned to continue to use their products while living in Denmark. I was relieved to find that all Magasins have their own little Mac booths in their make-up section so I can continue to use their products. To me, their face products(foundations, powders, blushes) are worth the extra cost over brands that you can buy at your local drugstore. Their products are high quality, come in varying shades to suit many different skin tones, and are a little bit cheaper than the more big named designer brand make-ups. Yes, the prices will seem way higher especially to someone who is used to buying Mac in the States. But that’s the case for everything… take into account sales tax and they end up almost the same price. As for this particular Mac booth, I HIGHLY recommend visiting during the week and not on the weekend. It gets CRAZY busy on the weekend, especially on a Saturday. I’ve passed by this Mac booth on the weekend and it’s always completely packed with people. I, on the other hand, went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was perfectly fine. The person who was helping me was fantastic. She asked for what I was looking for, asked a couple of questions about my skin type, and was able to recommend 2 solid products that would meet what I wanted and also work well with my skin. She tried both products on me and was very informative about each one. I left feeling satisfied with my purchase.
