I love the Original Coffee brand. Excellent coffee, simple good food in a lovely setting. While my neighborhood O.C. on Nordre Frihavnsgade will be my fave, this Original is brilliant for a change of setting. And on a sunny day? The rooftop tables are outstanding. Spires and domes and tiled roofs litter your view, church bells chime. Sip your coffee and sample the cakes. Serene. Tip — take the elevator unless you want to shop your way up to the top.

Lovely place to rest your feet and recharge after a long day of being a tourist in Centrum or shopping in Illum. It is quiet here and very photogenic with modern Scandinavian design everywhere, although it is minimalistic and not very cozy.
The coffee is good; I got a refreshing Espresso Tonic (34 dkk?) which hit the spot on a warm, sunny day. If you get to visit on such a day, the café gets a lot of natural light and if it’s warm enough you can sit outside. The view is great, and because it’s quieter it may be a better place to take more introverted tourists instead of nearby cafes on the busy shopping street. It’s also a pleasant café to people-​watch since there are quite a few beautiful customers.

Absolutely outstanding. Original coffee is already one of my favorite coffee house, but this new location on the top of Illum is outstanding. Still great coffee, cookies and «romkugler» as per usual, but here with a beautiful view over the city, roof top seating and a nice simple lunch selection of smørrebrød (open sandwich)

I really really liked this place. The interior is lovely, the guy serving us was cute (ha-​ha-​ha definitely a plus), the coffee is good, the comics on the walls are hilarious and the food is yum. We got an open faced tuna sandwich and it was way more than enough for the two of us. It was HEAPING with tuna (the good stuff!). Would definitely recommend. Also you can set outside on the balcony and enjoy the sun!
