Cheap but cheerful. The service is not amazing and the food won’t blow your mind, but for 50DKK, what could you expect? I’d recommend it to anyone very hungry in a budget. The highlight was the fruit & desserts!

The food at Samos is very cheap. 50DKK for lunch, and 80DKK for dinner, but the quality of the food and the service is not really something that I would recommend. The food is just boring, it almost felt like the chef forgot to add the spices to the food. But again you get what you pay for. It’s cheap and it’s food, but would not recommend Samos if you are looking for something interesting.

Since I was on a quest for a good cheap buffet, there I was stranded at Samos. I was expecting a Greek buffet… i mean thats what they advertise in their banner. But it was not close to any Greek food that I have eaten in my life. The service was bad too. The waiter didnt even ask what we would like to drink so we ended up not having any drink at all(which was okay, we only paid for the food!). Taste was nothing to be raving about, service… i told you how was it, and the place was just too small and too many people in the same time. I would have given 1 star, but it’s super cheap anyway so I am giving two stars. Definitely not coming back.

A touristy trap with a buffet and not even really Greek food. If you want to have a cheap meal then go ahead, but I wouldn’t visit this place again. I was there with some friends who wanted to eat. Thank god I had eaten before so I just saw what was offered at the buffet. The quality was bad, the food was very touristy and the place is not even ran by Greeks! Wouldn’t recommend this one to a friend. Maybe to a hungry student, but still there are better places to eat than this. On top of that the service was bad and they were only trying to cash money by rushing people and trying to make everyone fit in this tiny place where you sit almost on top of each other.

I expect Greek food to be tasty and I was partly disappointed. Food was just ok, service was just ok, wine was just ok… nothing worthy mentioning at all. The only thing that keeps the place busy is the credulously cheap afternoon buffet. It would be a 2-stars rating, but value of money saves the game.

Nothing special about any of the food, it was all completely forgettable. Including the service… as I entered there was no one to be seen for at least full minute and I felt kind of silly standing around waiting to be seated. But for the value it was worth 3 stars. Though the price I got charged was higher than what was advertised outside. Maybe VAT was not incldued? Hmmm… I guess that’s what you get for following advice of where to eat from a guy on the street holding a sign.

Stumbled on the restaurant while looking for a place to eat. Lunch buffet was cheap, and food good.

When I worked down the street for about 4 years, Samos was a regular lunch place for me. It had a great owner — Franasis — and a very consistent, inexpensive and tasty Greek buffet. I loved the meatballs and pasta!
