I rarely stop by here, although it’s the nearest shop at home. First of all because SuperBrugsen is one of the priciest and most expensive supermarket in town; second of all because everything in Christianshavn costs more. Even Netto! I think this SuperBrugsen can come in handy just for«emergency grocery». Meaning if you’re cooking a meal and miss a fundamental ingredient, you just put your coat on and go spend more for the same product you could have easily found at Netto for a cheaper price. This shop in particular has a wider meat and fish section, along with frozen foods and sweets. You can also find spices(there’s a whole shelf for them), sauces, some ethnic food and house supplies. There’s a big vegetables/fruit section and there’s also a discount basket where foods close to expiration date are put so you can buy them for at least 50% off their original price. And it really comes in handy! Regrettable spot is the cashiers: only three in a shop that can get really crowded during rush hours and often creates a long queue. Too bad. Good supermarket overall, just not the one I’d go spontaneously in if I had time and on my bike.
