Tasty drinks, fast service, very popular and crowded on Fridays.

I went here last night for the second time. The cocktails are decent. I had one with cucumber, lime, gin, and ginger beer and found it refreshing. The music level provided a nice atmosphere for chatting with a small group of people. There isn’t much seating or a dance floor, so this is a bar to go to first before going to another place that suits your mood. Kassen also has a great location, so if you need a go-​to place where the energy is consistent, this would be it. Kassen is really small so it can be difficult to navigate, especially as the night goes on, so be prepared to push your way through to the bar.

Absolutely the worst bar experience I had in my entire 2 month stay in Copenhagen. It was packed, so my friends and I thought that would be a good indicator for a good time– WRONG. Awful service and I have to assume that Copenhagen’s finest douchebags choose to go to this bar. I asked the bartender for a recommendation and he said, «Do you think I have time to pick something out for you?» and threw a menu at me. I speak fluent Danish and heard him being equally rude in both languages to customers.
That being said, the level of harassment I got from entitled bargoers before I managed to squeeze myself out of that place was so awful and annoying that I can hardly blame the bartender for being the world’s biggest prick. One of my friends did get a drink, and he said it was terrible. DO NOT GO HERE.
If you are looking to drink in Nørrebro, there is an amazing fun bar just around the corner called Understedet and another cocktail bar called the Barking Dog-​I highly recommend either of those places instead. If you’re looking to be treated like trash and associate yourself with a bunch of desperate 20-​somethings, go here. If not, save your money for somewhere with a better vibe.

One of the first bars I dropped into after arriving in Copenhagen. I went on a Wednesday night and it was not packed, but reasonably busy all night. Drinks are 2 for 1 for Kr 75 from 10 to midnight. I didn’t think the drinks were particularly strong, but they were well made and very tasty. Super recommend the mojitos; the mint leaves were picked off a little mint plant behind the bar and they smell and taste fantastic.
I noticed several groups of people drinking strawberry daiquiries so I bought one (well 2 for 1) too. They were good… but not THAT good. The strawberry did completely mask the taste of any alcohol, so if you don’t like alcohol tasting drinks you should get their daiquiry. I will stick to my mojitos.
I’ll be back! (but maybe not on a Friday based on some other reviews).

This was the bar I came to most often when I was visiting Copenhagen, and it was on the street I came to every night when I was here too. I like this neighbourhood. Don’t judge me.
The best and worst time to come is on a Friday afternoon at about 5pm. It’s massively packed. For good reason, though, it’s happy hour at 75 DKK for 2 drinks.
When the bartenders are in the zone, the drinks are pretty good. When they’re not, service is terrible and the drinks are over-​priced (especially when it’s not happy hour).
I still like this place for the vibe, though.
Tip: if you check in on foursquare, it unlocks a special that’s supposed to give you a free shot from the bar.
