Ølsnedkeren is a pretty neat place and so relaxed. Their selection is(relatively) big and filled with interesting beers. Also, it’s simply refreshing that not all decent beer bars in Copenhagen is owned by Mikkeller, so thank you for that, Ølsnedkeren! The crowd is pleasant, the service is calm, the interior is cozy and the beers are good. What more can you really ask for?

Great craft beer place. Not touristy at all, and crowded with Danes. All the beer is incredible and definitely a must for people looking to drink something besides the typical Carlsberg and Tuborg. No wifi.

I’m not sure if they’d want me to compare them to Mikkeller, but I’m doing it anyway. This place is a great alternative to Mikkeller: Tasty beer? Check. Good variety? Check. Hipstery décor? Check. Plenty of seating for larger parties? Check. Larger beers for 40DKK? Check. And it is this last one that I really like. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy Mikkeller, but I find it too pricey for what you get. There isn’t a beer list with more than 40 beers, but they still have solid brews for much less than some of the other breweries in Copenhagen. Highly recommended!

All the beers I had were good or better. Much more of a traditional craft brewery. Full line up varying from Porter to IPA. If you’re tired of getting gouged by Mikkeller this is your best bet. All beers were less than 50 Kronor. Plus they give you free peanuts.

Support this micro-brewery! It is worth while tasting the varieties and spending some quality time in this«hyggelige» athmosphere.

Decevingly small space in a quieter, more residential area of Nørrebro that manages to pack in a lot of seats and sitting nooks to accommodate all sorts of groups. There are also bicycles hanging off the ceiling and all sorts of knick-knacks tacked on to the walls. While the crowd is hipsterish, it’s of the harmless and friendly Danish sort, and not the oh-so-subtly snobbish and irksome American variety. Most importantly, there are many different varieties of beer to choose from. If I remember correctly, they make quite a few in-house brews, but they also have many other Danish and even global microbrews on tap. They’re also open ’til 3am, which is a tad later than many other places in the area. Add in the casual, friendly vibe as already mentioned, and you’ve got the formula for my kind of beer bar. Good stuff!

I love this gem of a place in Nørrebro. Forget the upscale Mikeller or the big Taphouse, this place is small but«hyggeligt» as the Danes would say. I was dragged here after a hearty meal at the Ethiopian restaurant on the same street further down Nørrebrogade and this place is just perfect. I like that there are more and more craftbeer bar in Copenhagen that gives no excuse to drink a bad beer. They have their beer list on the blackboard by the bar and you could get a taste of what you will order, and since it’s called Ølsnedkeren, they make their own bottled beer as well. Too bad I had to hurry home because I was drinking on a Wednesday, but I would definitely come back to this place again.

Tiny beer pub with well brewed local beer! I will return next time I am in Copenhagen and I will recommend it to everyone who likes a good beer!

Definitely one of the best places in Copenhagen for craft beer. The beer is made at the bar’s own brewery(used to be in the basement I believe, now moved out on the country side), and they often have new brews on tap. They make some really good IPAs, and the prices are very fair; around 45kr for a pint. The place itself is super cozy and warm, with wooden and second-hand furniture(and a bike hanging from the ceiling, to complete the hipster vibe). Staff is friendly(tho sometimes a bit busy) and happy to give out advice and tasters if you’re not sure what beer to pick.

For tourists this bar is pretty far off the normal routes that would be recommended to you. It’s one for beers geeks looking for craft beers on tap and keen to keep away from the Tuborg and Carlsberg that dominate touristy bars. It really is worth the trip, not far from the nearest metro stop it best described as a grainy hipster bar where 99% of the clientele are locals. There are retro pictures on the walls and bicycles hanging from the roof. Apart from that it is pretty basic with no fancy edges, just a chalkboard with 10-ish craft beers from across the globe on tap. I had an amazing IPA from New Zealand which is one of the best beers I have had on this trip to Copenhagen. Definitely worth a look if you like new beers and want to get of the beaten track. (Sadly no wi-fi though)

I live nearby, and this has become one of my locale favorites. It has so for several reasons: 1. The beer — it is goood! Ølsnedkeren has an ever changing beer menu, and you get to taste new brews that are both well crafted and niche. One of the great surprises to me was a smoked wheat beer. 2. Great service. You can always taste a small sample before deciding, it is friendly and informative. My girlfriend once came in with a fake theater wound and two minutes later the bartender had found all the needed remedies and ready to call for an ambulance. 3. It is cosy and most often packed with a great crowd of awesome people. 4. The beer is really, really good 5. On Tuesday the beer is insanely cheap 32 – 35 kr for handbrewed beer!), as it is happy hour. In general the beer is very fairly priced already.
