The owner is nice, but the lighting of the place is kinda dark and there are dust on products. It feels like the products have been there forever.

I went with really high hopes because(1) it has an impressive website for a grocery store with all the items listed by country of origin(2) the photos and reviews are Unilocal were really impressive. Maybe due to my high hopes, I am a little let down. The selection is not bad and the prices are only a tiny bit higher than the ethnic markets in Vesterbro(which has become my benchmark for Asian food prices and selection in Copenhagen), but it’s not WOW. There is a fairly substantial shelf of Chinese pickled vegetables and condiments to go with morning congee, and it has all the basic sauces and seasonings you’d want. The frozen section has wonton wrappers, spring roll wrappers, and shrimp as you would expect. In terms of food, it doesn’t really have anything more than what you’d find in other Asian shops. The shop has other specialty items such as Asian beers and alcohols like Hite Beer, soju and sake. They also have cookware from simple things like bamboo steamers to fancy electronic rice cookers. The shop owner is also super friendly. While I was in there, one woman did not have enough money to pay for all her items, so he just told her to come back next week with the money. It’s a good shop for Østerbro and I don’t think there’s another like it in the nearby area, but it’s no comparison to the options that are available at many shops in Vesterbro.
