Hotel Imperial

Este hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado en la ciudad. Tienes metro, tren, autobús,… y llegarás andando al centro de copenhague en cuestión de minutos. Además tienes un supermercado NETTO muy cerca, ademas de numerosos (y carísimos) 7-​ELEVEN a la redonda.
Las habitaciones están bastante bien en general. Bien climatizadas, limpio, el baño algo pequeño, y lo peor para mi, sus camas son MUY blandas, lo cual deberían mejorar porque es una opinión que compartimos tanto yo como los compañeros con los que iba.
El desayuno es menos variado de lo que se puede esperar, y lo peor de todo es que cuesta encontrar una mesa en la que poder desayunar porque siempre está llenísimo.
Es de precio medio, pero todo en esta ciudad es caro por lo que creo que está dentro del mercado.

Very nice hotel. Clean and service was wonderful. Stayed for four nights. Our flight got in early, before check in time, and the staff accommodated us checking in as soon as possible so we could rest. Lifts were small and slow at times, but the stairs are easily accessible. Very convenient location to much of Copenhagen’s best attractions.

Very disappointed to find out that a PAID booking was not honored and I was sent to another sister Hotel (Phoenix) but the manger upon my arrival. May 28, 2015
I had booked and already fully paid for 3 night stay (with breakfast) while traveling from Rome to Washington DC. Quite tired because of the delayed flight I checked in around 6 pm to be told by the manger «Are you traveling alone? sorry we don’t have a room «
He made a big deal that he will pay for the taxi to the other Hotel and will send me a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. I tried to argue that a FULL payment was enough to guarantee the room but I was to tired and upset (I was in Rome to attend my mother’s funeral and stopped in Copenhagen to relax before returning home) to argue so I complaints were short and weak. The attitude of the manger was «I really don’t care about you «with a polite smile.
Once I said OK the manger quickly handed me to another clerk who took me to the taxi outside. I arrived at the other Hotel which was not convenient to the train station and the area I picked when I decided to stay at the Imperial.
The Phoenix is an old Hotel and they tried to put me in a room on the 3^rd floor (actually a dormer) that was the size of a closet. A single bed with one side against the wall — small window and no AC. I refused and requested a different room the front office tried to argue. When I threaten to go back to the original Hotel and camp in the lobby if I had to since I had already paid they agreed to a slight larger room on the ground floor, not exactly the best but OK and well ventilated. Of course the window was facing the back yard and no view.
The bottle of wine I was compensated for the trouble of going to another hotel was a cheap 4.00 euros bottle with a twist off cap.
I will not return and take the chance to book this hotel and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

I have just been here for 2 days for a work shop, I never stayed in the rooms. The conference was very well organized and the conference staff, particulary, one man was very friendly and always saw to that we had refreshments, snacks and drinks ready
One star off as the conference staff didn’t arrange any vegetarian food for one of our colleges.

Super zentrale Lage, Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fussläufig erreichbar. U-​Bahn direkt vor der Tür. Parken viel zu teuer, günstigere Tickets sind in der Touristeninformation erhältlich (380 statt 600 kr.).
Zimmer klein, Laut, Tür klemmt, Fenster etwas undicht, winziges Bad. Tiefe es Kleiderschrankes minimal, Klamotten lieber im Koffer lassen. Frühstück umfangreich und lecker.
WLAN kostenlos. Fahrstuhl nur mit Zimmerkarte benutzbar.

This should probably be 3.5, but I guess I’ll round up. The room was nice and everything worked, a functional and reasonable business hotel. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked pretty well on one of the hottest days of the year. Wifi was included, but breakfast was not (and it was pretty expensive). Overall everything but the breakfast was a good value.

Went here for a business function. The hotel is located close to the main railway station, Tivoli, and the main square. The hotel is recently renovated so the rooms are actually well updated. The rooms have individual AC and are quite roomy (by Danish standards). The bathrooms are small and also recently updated. The hallways are narrow and so are the elevators. The breakfast is OK but it only has the a modest selection. The conference rooms on the ground floor come in a variety of sizes. The AC is those rooms is broke or of limited capacity. We had a meeting on a warm sprint day and we were melting inside. OK place to stay, but the meeting faciilities cannot be recommended. There are quite a few good hotels close by and in the future I would recommend you consider the alternatives.
