As we ate our way through torvehallerne we stopped here to try the fish & chips that you could smell stalls away. There was a decent line and we were excited that the fish looked super fresh and was properly refrigerated. We ordered a traditional fish and chips and waited. I was glad to wait as they actually prepared it by order and not in bulk. I loved these fish and chips. We went to London after Copenhagen and honestly this was in lines as some of the best fish and chips I ever had. It was served with a good tartar sauce and a squeeze of lemon. The fish was flaky, fresh and still moist. The batter held together and wasn’t too think or thin. The fries seemed to be double fried as they were extra crisp and the perfect golden brown. You wont be disappointed.

One of the greatest burgers you can get in Copenhagen! The burger is just the right amount of spicy and just a bit more well-prepared. The waiting time is too long though, and there is not much space for eating in the restaurant.

Cool hipster joint in a cool hipster hood. The fish and chips are good, but the burger is better. It’s expensive, but hey, baby, you’re in Scandinavia. It’s enough to share, so grab a table out front and nosh away.

Best burger in town! My absolute favorite place for take out in the city. I have tried many of their main courses, which they change day by day, and I haven’t been disappointed so far:-). The quality along with the variety in their menu makes this the best take out place in my opinion — and let’s not forget the very fine service I have received every time. Applause! If you visit Copenhagen make sure to try the burger in this very place! The bread is delicious and so is the the meat and the homemade dressing. Yum!

Nice place. Got the fish n chips. The fish was good, the chips average. A little more fish would’ve been nice. Laid back. Ask for what you want, otherwise they just give you something(talking about the two«dippings of your choice» Didn’t find the waiting time especially long. You can’t sit in there and eat very well, so take the food with you and enjoy it outside. Value for money is OK. Would like to try some of their other dishes. Then I might add a star.

This place is easily a favourite amongst the small food parlours in the hood. The food appears well thought, well balanced and well picked from Fish & Chips, through the various burger variants that I’ve tried — spicy, pulled pork or ‘ladies model’(salat instead og fries). The place is varm, welcoming, and clean — and so are the prices.

Lovely glass enclosed foodie haven with a variety of sellers of all sorts of Whole Foods like products. I think it is located near the metro line to allow locals to do some fresh shopping on the way home but a great opportunity to try some local food, such as the fish and chips from the seafood purveyors. Half the fun is just walking around and looking at the vast variety of foods available for purchase. If you are the thrifty sort I saw some a nice looking soup stall outside that had extremely reasonable prices. Next time I stay in Copenhagen for a few days I’ll definitely come here to do a bit of shopping.

I was actually on my way to Pâté Pâté next door — but they didn’t have an opening for an hour and I was STARVING. So, a bit panicky I looked around and. What’s that cute little hole in the wall on the other side of the street? Is that fish and chips I see? And salads? And fish cakes? And chilli con carne? And frenchy-yummy dessert of the day? Quite intrigued with their odd combination of food and kitchens — and not least the huge line forming outside the place — I decided to try it out. I ordered the Danish fish cakes with salad, rye bread and home made remoulade(wow!) while Ulrik went for their chilli. Oh my, oh my! It was good. Sooo gooood! The fish cakes were deliciously old fashioned and yummy, the dark rye bread freshly made, the remoulade chunky as I like it, and the portion was huge! Plenty to fill you up, and then some — for the price of 55DKK, this is a steal. The chilli was really good too, I sensed some honey and some chocolate in it as well giving it an amazingly complex and delicious taste. But, hands down, I’m a fish cake girl. Mmm-m! A friend joined us halfway through and I ordered a side fries for us to nibble on. Not a good choice as the fries were a bit burned, soggy, and boring.

Great fish & chips but took quite a while for them to make it(and they didn’t seem to be particularly busy).
