LêLê is the perfect frame for a good night out. The atmosphere is always buzzing and good, The food is fresh and tasty and the cocktails are delicious. I prefer ordering a little bit of everything and share with friends. That way I don’t have to decide, but can have all my favorites. Last time I was here with a vegetarian friend and they gladly mentioned all the dishes that could easily be served as so. It all turned out as flavorful and delicious as per usual.

We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, my favorite dish was the kingfish ceviche. The service was friendly, but not very attentive. We had to remind them of what to bring us, and timings between dishes and drinks could be improved. Yet, the food was really good, well worth a visit!

Beautiful restaurant with delicious Asian fusion cooking and excellent service. You can choose a set menu or pick your own dishes from the à la carte menu. The starters are nice, but not mind blowing. We tried fried and fresh rolls with different fillings, pomelo salad and ceviche. The main course of duck however was DELICIOUS, can highly recommend it. It came with two rice cubes that were rock hard and actually quite tasteless. I also recommend the Passion fruit lemonade which is like a dessert on its own with hints of vanilla and ginger in it. So good! Overall, dinner at this restaurant is a very pleasant experience, with the stylish yet comfortable interior, great service and quality food.

My starter was well presented and the waiter explained each dish clearly. The crab and duck tasted quite good. The beef short ribs were very tender, moist and well seasoned. Would recommend it.

Nicely layout and posh. The menu has some reasonable items you would typically find in any VN restaurants all over the world. The food came, nicely prepared, but it can use more spice for my taste. Perhaps because the chef felt that the taste needs to be modified to fuse into local Danish taste buds.

If you’d like to get a decent Vietnamese food with good wine selection it’s a place to go. We ordered phở soup spring rolls and duck. Duck was good but it was bit tough. Phở is very different than the one served in the US, I’m not sure if it’s more authentic but it had much less meat and noodle and more soup. Service was good with knowledgeable waiter who checked on us frequently. However, for the quality of food and the environment I felt it was bit overpriced than usual.

Greeted at the door by a very friendly host and was seated right away. The vibe and the atmosphere is definitely high and nice. The service was average, I think the waitress was super busy, took almost 10 minutes before she approached the table. Was friendly enough, but one of those waitresses where if you ask if they prefer dish A or dish B simply answers, «well they are both different, one is heavy one is light». Had the fresh rolls to start, was good. Then the fish which was very tasty, but felt at bit to overwhelming with the flavours and not having a type of starch to go with it. I would rate the atmosphere and vibe a 4 and the food close to a 4, but because of the service and overall value for what you pay this is overall a 3.

Hanoi Duck please! I had one of my BEST meals in Copenhagen here! I was walking around Vesterbro on a busy night but decided to take a chance even though I did not have a reservation. They seated me with a smile. Since I tend to travel and dine alone, I usually get stuck at the bar or a table tucked in a corner but the waitstaff placed me in the middle of the main dining room and it was delightful! Folks were having fun, enjoying their food and conversation. My waiter suggested great wine and gave just enough small talk to lull me into a state of both excitement(about the food) and a relaxing comfort zone. I was just enthralled in the flavors of my food and wine. Simply divine!

Last time I went to LeLe I ended up with a bad stomach. Not at all pleasant. The food when it went in was good, just to bad that it in record time elected to exit the same way in came. Having a 5 hour flight the next day at 5 am made for quite possible the worst fight of my life. And I’ll never return to LeLe.

You realize it is like fast food place when you step inside, they hide it well from the street. They do serve very healthy food and it is tasty. I just do not like the whole eating in a huge hall will a lot of people talking so the noise to much and you will have to shout to communicate

I love visiting LeLe — I am just absolutely smitten by this place. Let me emphasis that it is NOT the food that draws me to this place. The food is OK, I’ll rate it a 3 as you can find better and cheaper Vietnamese restaurants in Cph. For me LeLe is a about the vibe and atmosphere. It’s chic and cool — and given the size of the place, you can often just pop in without reservation and get a table. If lucky, they won’t have space straight away and you get to hang out and talk to the friendly crowd in their lovely little cocktail bar sipping your cosmo or something equally gorgeous while waiting to be seated. For me, this is a favourite pre-party spot in Cph.

Lêlê was the place my wife and I would go for our default date night if we wanted something we enjoyed and didn’t want to explore. They changed the menu earlier this year so not all the main courses are the same. There is a new pork dish that is really delicious but frankly it was so heavy that I felt overdosed before I finished it. Many good appetizers though. I really like the wontons that are made with shrimp and turkey. Drinks are terrific but Copenhagen-expensive(90 – 100 dkk). My favorite is the mojito which they actually refer to by some other name but if you ask for a mojito you get it. After they muddle the lime they pour in the golden sugar syrup that I can’t find in the US. The whole tart, fizzy, lime-y drink is bliss. Weekends there is a wait but you can sit at the bar till they buzz your number.

Never been here for dinner, only been here for the(Asian) brunch. What do you know? In a place like Copenhagen where brunch means standardized omelette, sausage on the side topped with limp bacon, this place actually serves Asian brunch — and by Asian I mean anything that you usually NOT eat in the morning in Denmark — just like the way we do it in Asia. Pad thai, sushi, sashimi, congee(although a bit on the watery side), springrolls, fried rice, you name it. I’m usually scared of Asian restaurants that offer buffet, but for this one, I’m glad. The price is only around 150 kr, which is a good deal considering it’s all-you-can-eat ASIAN brunch(Asian is the key word here). There are obviously other standard brunch menu like sausage and bacon, but who really cares? It’s good value considering you get to be decadent and healthy at the same time by having fruit dessert, dipped in chocolate fountain. PS: don’t bother ordering drinks, they have orange juice for free! See, good deal!

i came here for dinner last summer while i was in copenhagen. since i arrived pretty late(even though it was still completely light out), i didn’t want to go far, and the restaurant was right by my hotel. the inside was quite a scene, and there was a dj playing ambient music. i ordered the claypot fish which came w/vermicelli on the side. the sauce had dill, which is unusual for viet food, but it guess it was given a scandinavian twist. i also ordered a glass of wine, and the total came out to be about $ 50, which i would never pay for vietnamese food back home. food was good, but not worth the price tag.

these 3.5 stars are for the weekend brunch buffet! dinner is probably only 2 stars. service is on the slow side because there are very few waitresses to go around all the tables. there are a couple guys behind the bar but they won’t help while they are waiting to make drinks; they will just stand there while the waitresses are running around. once you get seated and place your drink order, the rest is up to you. i would have given lêlê the full 4 stars if the service was a bit better. stay away from the ‘western’ offerings; you can get that anywhere else in copenhagen. besides, the bacon looks nearly steamed in the buffet warmer and the scrambled eggs have been sitting a while. i go straight for the steamed prawns, raw salmon, chicken skewers(you can actually taste the lemongrass and kafir lime leaves), and fried wontons. there are also salmon sushi rolls and a couple other dishes in rotation. the congee is not that great… pretty thin and there is parsley and chives in it instead of spring onion. also their rice noodles are unfortunately under-cooked sometimes. nice if you like very al dente, i suppose. for dessert there are a couple cakes or pies on offer, along with fresh fruit and marshmallows and… a chocolate fountain! yes, you get to dip the sweets in liquid chocolate. yum! this alone is almost worth the buffet price of 155kr. there is usually at least one exotic fruit among the usual orange and pineapple. last time it was dragonfruit and today was wax apple. nice touch. bottom line is that there are several great offerings at lêlê, and if you stick to them and don’t waste your stomach space on the fillers then it will be worth every krone.(:

Klasse.
