We were looking for vegan food in Copenhagen and stumbled upon Fafa’s. What a find!!! Great falafel, the best we have tasted so far in Europe. We had the version with eggplant and hummus added to it, and an order of fries with a tasty homemade tomatoe sauce. Everything was prepared with love and care and tasted heavenly. Not cheap but worth it. Free water is provided on the table. The people were super friendly. We will be back!

Unfortunately the falafel pita wasn’t as amazing as they are in Helsinki, and the whole menu seemed to be somewhat more pricey, but still a fine place to have some food.

We’ve been living in Copenhagen for a year and always talked about how this city needs good falafel(I’ve spent 8 years in the Middle East). Then Fafa’s opened three blocks from us! This is truly world class taste, quality and service. Very friendly staff, free olives and even water(a biggie here), and wonderful kabob and falafel. We buy in bulk for all our parties. Guests love it. Go, you can’t go wrong.

Fafa’s has recently opened in Copenhagen, so i went today to try it out. I already know it well from Helsinki, Finland, as Fafa’s has two eat in/takeaway restaurants already and it is really popular. The concept is to serve falafels and kebabs with an israeli touch, as the owners are from Israel. Me and my gf ordered a falafel with halloumi, and a kebab with fresh koriander. Definitely as tasty and fresh tasting as the ones we tried in Helsinki, only thing i might be a bit critical about was that the portions are somewhat smaller than what you get at Fafa’s in Helsinki, and here it is even slightly more expensive. Considering that a falafel at Fafa’s is 65 – 75 kroner and a kebab is 85 kroner i would hope to have a more filling portion, as in Finland you are really full after eating one. Had the portions been the same this would have been 5 stars. And even though Fafa’s is really a more tasty and more healthy experience than a typical pita kebab you usually find all over Copenhagen, then it is also two-three times more expensive. But still overall highly recommended. I could not find a website for the place, but they have a facebook page:
