Mikkeller & Friends is perfect for beer lovers and those new to craft beer. The lounge sells a variety of craft beers. I normally don’t drink beer(I’m more of a mojito kind of guy), so I felt apprehensive when I entered the doors. Fortunately, after I expressed my concerns with one of the workers, I was allowed to try a few options before making a purchase. After a few tastings, I chose the the sweetest beer available. The drink had pomegranate undertones and a cider-like texture. The beer was nice but pricy. I recommend this place for its environment. I’ve never seen a place have such a relaxing atmosphere.

Well, it is well worth the visit. Pretty pricey but you can get all brews in 20cls glasses. Spontan-brews can still be DKK110 for the small glass. The tap menu has something for everyone — even if «you dont like beer». Crisps/Chips bags at DKK35. Sibling bar for sour brews is Koelschip. They accept AMEX.

Impressive collection of the obvious, crazy funny art, and happy people. Not much else to add, except that you can get sample sizes!

Yes — Yes — YES!!! Ok this location is split into two bars. A regular Mikkeller & Friends bar and then a SOUR beer bar on the other side. Let’s stick to the sour beer bar. I mean come on — they have a four door fridge FILLED with any lambic, geuze and sour beer you could ever think of. And the place is dark and quiet and small and perfect. The bartender had a ton of knowledge on all of the beers they offered(even had some on tap). He was able to lead us to the most sour beer of all — and I was in heaven. If you’re a sour beer lover and like to try something new/unique — go here!!!

Ah the legendary Mikkeller and Friends! The place is located near Jaegersborggade, the ‘most happening’ street in Copenhagen, and is in a class of its own. The inside is minimalist and cozy and can probably seat around 40 people. There are some piddling food options, and some fantastic, fantastic beer. If you’re not aware Mikkeler is a legendary Copenhagen craft brewery that specializes in unusually flavored beers. A beer that tastes like Mango? Or one that tastes like berries? Or how about one that tastes like chocolate? Well, Mikkeler has them all. My suggestion — go for 3 of the small glasses. You spend around 100DKK, give your tastebuds a crazy whirl, and get just the right amount of buzzed in the process. :)

When you have a Danish boyfriend and you both like beer, it doesn’t take a long time before you’ll be introduced to Mikkeller(, which is a Danish brewery). This little bar is located next to the shop where they sell lots of different Mikkelers(and some other beers), on the corner, in a basement. It’s not too hard to find, but still good to know, because really: if you like beer, you want to go here! Mikkeler & Friends really is open for everyone. It’s not the classical dark-brownish beer place(that smells a little bad), but really a cool place with fresh colors and lots of white and tree. And yep, their beers… You can get both 0.2 and 0.5 liters, which makes it way more affordable!, and there’s so many different ones on tap that I guess you could say this really is Mikkeler paradise. Or beer paradise.

I’m always a fan of trying local craft beers, so when I was in CPH I knew I had to pay Mikkller & Friends a visit, and its selection of 40 different beers on tap definitely didn’t disappoint. I came with a couple friends around late afternoon/early evening on a Sunday since we had some time to kill before dinner, and as expected, there weren’t very many people there. The space itself isn’t huge, and more appropriate for smaller groups of 3 – 4 people. The beer itself was fantastic — I tried an IPA and a Pils(don’t remember exactly which ones) and they were both very good. The staff is very knowledgeable; the girl serving me patiently answered all my questions as I was deciding between the overwhelming selection and could give me a very detailed explanation of every beer I asked about. And I love that they have the 0.2L size so that you can try multiple without your brain getting too fuzzy! :P The only downside to that is that it can get pricey(each one alone is already more than I’d usually agree to pay for something of that size), especially since it’s so tempting to try so many. But, I do think this place is still worth it to visit at least once!

Grabbed drinks before(and after) dinner. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the beer. I have to say it was quite loud and a little too toasty inside(I was even in a tank top). Definitely a place to go and grab a beer!

I usually don’t drink beer, because I get tipsy easily from beer(I drink better cocktail). This, however, is an exception. It’s pricey, but it’s worth it. So many beers to choose from. Ranging from sweet to very sour beers. My favorite will always be anything with chocolate and taste less sour. But what gets this place a 5 stars instead of 4 is their honesty. I forgot my wallet in the toilet one time. Got my credit card, ID, etc inside. I was pretty sure that I will not gonna get it back again, but to my surprise they returned it. That put a big smile on my face.

If you think Mikeller at Viktoriagade is nice, this place is much nicer! I must admit that I’m a bit weirded out by the shades of blue in this place. The whole bar looks like it’s been decorated by a bunch of Stepford Wives, but it’s a bit of consolation that you could see the bunch of beer taps right away. One thing that you notice is that this place is so much spacious than the Viktoriagade one and it has nice outdoor seating across the street. As a huge fan of dark beer, I find the selection is much better here for my taste. Apart from the beer attraction, the taco truck from Yuca taco would also frequent this place in the weekends of summer months, so that’s a plus — and with such great location, there are lots of other interesting(wine) bars, cafes and restaurants around if you need to top up the food level before gulping some beer.

YES! Beer beer beer. in every way possible… however, I miss some great thought-through snacks for the beer. I mean just a beer is fine but just to add the little extra??? Unfortunately one in my company don’t like beer and ordered a glass of wine and it wasn’t the best quality. I know, to order wine in a beer academy is like swearing in church. but it has to be something for everyone right?

What a pleasant place to drink bougie beer. Though my first Mikkeler was at the Vesterbro location, this one compliments my style more. Again– the vast menu(60+ taps, constantly on rotation) got me dizzy. I guess Mikkeler is the popular kid at school. The bartenders are some of the friendliest in town and gave us great recommendations for our every whim. I had a stout, EuroDancer(cheered with bartender) and envied my friend’s Sour Beer(like drinking distilled green apples… Err YUM) You must try this! The interior appears deceptively tight from the outside, but there’s a whole nother 2 rooms in the back. Which no doubt always have company. While sipping our beers we were greatly entertained by the fickle illustrations all around, like a gallery. Definitely a bar that embraces its neighborhood. Will love to come back again and again.

Amazing tap bar and my favourite place for beer in Copenhagen. Big variety of tap beers(around 35 – 40 taps) and always something new available to try. They also have a small variety of snacks which work well with beer(variety of dried sausages served with pickles and crisps/chips). Love the place and love the easygoing vibe. Total recommendation.

Nørrebro is where it’s at, people. Mikkeller & Friends opened up in Nørrebro as an extension to the original Mikkeller location in Vesterbrø, and is also enabling patrons to buy a vast selection of beer for take away. It’s not just Mikkeller beer that’s for sale either — the bf and I found local beers from our hometown area in California even! M&F is just below the street on Stefansgade and has a bright décor, with mint green/seafoam walls, Mikkeller artwork, and plenty of seating. The crowd type varies from younger to older, depending on the time of day. They have chips and some snacks to serve while you drink, which is more than what the original location offers up from I understand. Great addition to the neighborhood and awesome look and feel to add to the different Mikkellers!

Mikkeller & Friends is located in the excellent area around Stefansgade and Jægersborggade, and in summer this is my favorite place for beers. I sit down outside — on the benches or on the curb — and enjoy my beer with a friend or two in the warm breeze and the afternoon sun. You can taste the beer before you buy — and there’s plenty to choose from, about 40 – 50 different beers from different microbreweries. I really love the place, although the interior decoration and furniture is a bit dull — the lively and friendly atmosphere makes up for that(in my opinion).

Great and different place on Nørrebro, even better if you are a beer lover — since that is their concept and pretty much all you can get. I am a beer lover which is part of why I love coming here, the personnel is very knowlegdeable on all of their beers and gives a great recommendation if your´re in doubt of what to chose. Recommendations based on what kind of beer you like or if you want to try something new. The atmosphere is great and different, only thing there aren´t that many chairs so if you come on one of those days when it´s packed, be prepared to stand. If not on Nørrebro I would visit their spot on Vesterbro, also a great place can recommend the Vesterbro Pilsner, it´s like soda.

Yup — that was good. My friend got the beers so I have no idea what I drank just that it was like a honey/dessert wine beer. Her’s was a pale ale. Both great. I wish we had time to go back and have another drink. Next time!

As a fan of the other Mikkeller bars around the world, i had to hit this ip while eating in the area., et two friends for drinks. Shit it’s crowded. Could be that the CPh beer celebration is on and über beer geeks are out. Not sure what the deal with the brits outside of their country are but theyre just rude here, and it would turn put the same at the CBC. Regardless had a solid Rose de Gambrinus sour and we checked out the bottle shop. I, guessing ill stick to the original space more but good to know there’s a great alternate locale in town.

Do you absolutely love beer? Does your wardrobe consist of skinny jeans and graphic tshirts? Do you have a big, manly, hipster beard? Then Mikkeller is definitely the place for you. And even better news, unlike its original in Vesterbro, Mikkeller & Friends has room for you AND your friends!(you see what I did there?) If you don’t drink beer but you’re with a bunch of friends who do, you will have an excellent selection of fantastic spirits to choose from. To drink either on the rocks, or straight up. They don’t have mixers. This is not that kind of bar. Nestled on a cozy corner in a neighborhood that used to be preeeeeeety sketch, it’s a great place to have a beer in the afternoon, or booze it up all night long.
