Excellent guilt-free ice cream that you can treat any of your friends to when they have a sweet tooth. Although when you realize you’ve paid 30 dkk for a popsicle, you may be a little disappointed by the size. The higher price is due to the fact that it is made with organic ingredients and it completely vegan! And the taste… well, it is among the best ice creams that I’ve had in Copenhagen! And not just in the vegan category, albeit that is only a small niche here. The shop doesn’t look very nice and there is barely any room to order, much less sit. But why would you want to sit inside eating ice cream? I had one with peanut butter and chocolate, which had just enough salt to make the flavours pop and was coated in coconut flakes, crushed peanuts, and chopped wolfberries. Absolutely delicious! They have some classic flavours as well as trendier combinations like seabuckthorn and licorice+whatever, but the menu changes. Certainly worth a visit.

Nicecream is not just great because it’s vegan — it’s also great because they are so inventive with what they offer! Non-vegans will want to try all of the flavors, too. Licorice, peanut butter., fruit… whatever you like, it is represented here. Their sandwiches and pops are creamy, delicious, and you wouldn’t really even know they’re vegan(and sweetened with agave). I’m dying to have the recipe for the cookies in the ice cream sandwich, which I know are made of a white bean base but again, they taste like the real thing. It’s a cute little shop with no seating inside but you can sit out on the street or take the treats to go. I’m looking forward to trying the acai bowl sometime, but for now have a hard enough time not double-fisting chai ice cream sandwiches and pretending I’m ‘buying one for a friend’…

Had this place on my long list of go-to’s and finally made it today fueled by my never-ending hunt for an acai bowl in the city. To my disappointment, they were not serving acai bowls when I arrived, although their menu seems to say otherwise. After a brief pout I landed on their strawberry toffee nice-pop. Although a vegan treat, the creaminess of the pop is wonderful and the sweet bits of toffee inside were a delight. The pop itself was an elevated strawberry and cream masterpiece that left me satisfied. They have many other flavors on hand including some vegan ice cream sandwiches that I hope to give a try next time. Great place and cool concept although I am still craving my acai bowl.

Goodness me! I had not expected to love this tiny hole in the wall place and their simple(so far) lollipop style, organic vegan icecream THAT much! Simplicity with attention to details and flavours go a long long way. We had raspberry/liquorice and strawberry/toffee on the first visit and it was love at first creamy flavoursome bite. We had to return next day and then we had chocolate/peanutbutter(my favourite with crunchy peanut bits) and triple chocolate cookie sandwich. Stunning, creamy not overly sweet icecream full of flavours. You certainly don’t have to be vegan to realise this place is a winner!
