Cool place to have Japanese food. Tasty sushi’s and nice atmosphere in great locations. The service is okay. The price is fair

We booked a little in advance for two 30th birthdays whilst we were in Copenhagen for the weekend. It was a Sunday so it was lovely and quiet in the restaurant. Great service and a huge choice of food. We had non-sushi eaters so they were well catered for. The sushi eaters were catered for even better though! We went back for more spicy tuna rolls, salmon nigiri was looooovely and the beer was damn good. I thought the prices were really reasonable; especially when you’re visiting from London. And I will be winging my way to a London branch soon!

The sushi was okay. Well-presented which makes me really happy. I order takeaway and they all came with nice stable boxes. The staff were helpful and nice as well. However a bit expensive from my point of view.

Tried to book order online. Did not work. Called them and asked, got the respond«It worked for other people today» Okay, not for me. Work with web development, so saw afterwards that it was because I added a country code to my phone number. The guy, who needed to speak English since he could not understand Norwegian, told me how well it worked instead of asking what did not work. I told him very clearly: Give me the time for when the sushi is ready, so I don’t have to stand there and wait. Already used enough time on your website. He say okay, it was ready in 20 minutes. I come there after 30 minutes just to be sure, and a manager called«Dave» presents himself. He wants to have a meeting with me. — Meeting? I just want my food, as very clearly explained during the call. He thinks my tone in the call was«abusive» I’m thinking«Abusive? Because you failed to take my order 5 times, and your web did not work? My co-workers sat next to me and praised me for how patience I was with you. And here you are, calling me abusive as the first think when I walk in tot he restaurant… « “well, I just want my food» I told him, giving him my card. But he did not want to charge it, he kept talking: — Do you want a meeting with our IT guy? — No, I want my food. Can I have my food? — Do you want a meeting with me and the other manager, I would love to sort this situation with you? — No, I want my food. Can I have my food? — I think your tone is very abusive. Are you being abusive? — No, I want my food. Can I have my food? At this point, I almost left the place. Lot´s of people in the line, and after saying for the 5th time — «I’m not interested in having any discussion with you, I just want my food, stop talking to me» He asked again: — Anything I can do for you? — Yes, give me my food!!! After he left, someone else came and gave me my food and charged me. This so called«manager» is the most annoying person I have ever met in my entire life. Never going back to this Sushi place, from now on ordering from another Sticks and Sushi!

The sushi was a bit expensive for my preference, but delicious and very well presented. I didn’t get much out of the atmosphere/ambiance… it felt pretty standard, which was out of sync with their pricing.

The fish itself was very good. Tasted fresh etc. The cost was a bit high for the quality. All of the sushi good but not amazing! However this is a chain so I guess that is what you get. They also charge for tap water(20kr) because they filter it. hmmm. Not a bad choice but there are definitely better sushi places in the city.
