This place is totally OK for a night out in town where you looking for a quick grab after having possibly drunk too much or just simply drunk :) Service is fast and efficient, as expected — you don’t really want to upset hungry people, or drunk people in that case. The place is well-lit, bright and sometimes the bright neon glare can blind you, but hey — at least you know that your food looks decent even after midnight.

Cheap, yummy, fast and friendly service! Trying to save money when you can in a city like Copenhagen is not easy, but you have options like this place. You’ll see a shawarma places every block or so on Stroget but we saw it was busy so we came here. We has the shawarma menu, also came with fries and drink and a falafel. It was filling and hit the spot! I also enjoyed the hot sauce on the table.

Tip: Get a plate! I got the beef shawarma and wasn’t a fan. We wanted to try Mediterranean while we were in town. I got a beef shawarma pita and it was large and filled with tons of meat, lettuce, and chopped tomatoes. I wasn’t a fan of the meat because it had a strong vinegary flavor. Maybe that’s how the Mediterranean food tastes here but I like it better in CA. My friends got a plate with chicken and beef skewers and said it was pretty good. I recommend getting a plate with one of their dips. They looked tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

Fellow Unilocaler, How do you say in Danish«Quick, dirty, portions could be bigger, tastes less greasy than most British kebabs, great for a hangover and oh I love that spicy red stuff they have lying on every table»? I have no idea but I bet you that’s what all these reviews in Danish are saying, perhaps with the exception of that first guy that was too lazy to go beyond a second sentence. How do you say in Danish«only visit if you’re drunk or starving and have no back up dinner plan»? I still haven’t a clue but that’s my honest recommendation to all English speaking Unilocalers walking around Copenhagen, reading this review and looking for a place to eat a ill sumtn sumtn. Yours faithfully, Nik
