Well it’s not one of my favourite places in Lyngby and I usually only go there if it’s to crowded the other places… Or if I’m only having something to drink.
It’s very loud inside and food isn’t great.
There’s a courtyard which is fantastic during the summertime, it’s secluded from the main street and therefore really quiet and full of sun. There’s also tables outside the café but these ones are always in the shade.

I’ve been to Café Amalie a few times now, and each time I’m really not impressed.
The place is always filled with people that it’s hard to get a table when I get here for lunch/brunch, so it seems to be a popular place. I however, don’t think there’s anything to rave about.
Their brunch is extremely bland and the eggs in particular have no flavor and a weird consistency. The fruit on the plate was almost frozen, so impossible to eat. Disappointing.
Their burger is decent and probably the only thing I’ve ever really enjoyed. Not worth coming here just for the burger though, in my opinion.
