GameStop

Wir sind seit kurzem Kunden bei GameStop und bisher sehr zufrieden, Unser erster Kauf war ein Playstation-​4-​Aktionspaket. Inzwischen haben wir auch noch eine gebrauchte Wii sowie Spiele gekauft. Fazit: Die neuen Spiele sind billiger als beim Mediamarkt und die gebrauchten lohnen sich auch. Leider kriegt man nicht viel dafür, wenn man seine eigenen abgibt. Die Verkäufer sind sehr nett und engagiert. Weiter so!

GameStop is one of the well-​known international games franchise companies. They have really good system and service to help out gamers preorder their games or other questions. They also offer some other services when you are member of them. It’s not difficult to become one though, you can apply it in all their stores or simply online.
I’ve been here couple times, it’s quite easy to find. The shops is not really big, but you can find most of the popular games from different consoles. You can also do the preorder in the shop, it’s really convenient. The employees are really friendly and helpful. In my opinion, they are selling more service than just product itself.
There are also couple things I don’t like so much, for example the game trade-​in policy. And even the game is old and second hand, the price still generally more expensive than other shops. The price of the new games is regular price. Well, good thing is when the game which exclusive in GameStop usually really turn out to be nice and time to time they will have different event for current games.
Overall, it’s a nice place for games or who just start to become one. The problems that I mentioned are more related to their policy. Which only the main office in US can make the change.

Was anstrengend ist, ist die Gutscheinpolitik, Geld gibt es nicht zurück. Aber ist halt verständlich, wenn man Kinder als Kunden hat und man gebrauchte Spiele 7 Tage ohne Probleme zurück geben kann. Das Probespielen verhindert Fehlkäufe

Wie sich Gamestop halten kann ist mir ein Rätsel. Neue Spiele sind meistens ein paar Euro teurer als in anderen Läden, was besonders dann auffällt, wenn nebenan ein mediamarkt ist. Die gebrauchten Spiele, die verkauft werden, sind auch viel teurer als man sie im Internet bekommen würde. Und wenn man seine eigenen alten Spiele loswerden möchte lohnt es sich beim besten Willen nicht, diese für Bargeld abzudrücken. Der Storecredit statt Bargeld ist da schon besser, aber imernoch unter dem Niveau, was man online oder auf nem Flomarkt bekommen würde. Ein Besuch lohnt sich in meinen Augen in keinem Fall, wenn man Spiele kaufen oder verkaufen möchte ist es überall besser als hier.
