Chuzo

Simone hat es schon sehr gut auf den Punkt gebracht. Ein Laden für die Fleischpflanzerl unter euch, würde ich sagen. Die Tapas sind eher im Durchschnitt, das Fleisch war aber sehr gut zubereitet und sehr lecker. Die offene Küche mit den Fleisch– und Fischstücken in der Theke hat mir auch gut gefallen. Der Service muss sich in der Tat einrappeln, wir waren allerdings auch mit bestimmt 15 Leuten da. Es scheint sich um ein Franchising-​/​Kettenkonzept zu handeln.

We have been here twice.
Both times I have had the Iberisches Schweinfilet chuzo. The first time it was great, the second time it was just OK.
I also had the U.S. Bison chuzo and, sorry to say, it was a let down. Bison is supposed to be a leaner meat and this wasn’t. It didn’t have a nice flavor and quite frankly was more like beef.
I will never order this here again. It was a costly mistake (12.90 € to be exact).
My wife’s Schweinfilet was the same. Her second skewer came later and she said it tasted better than the first, however it had noticeably less meat.
For tapas, we had the Iberischer Bohnenintopf (white beans and chorizo in tomato sauce) and Kartoffeln mit Salzkruste (boiled potatoes topped with a green sauce similar to pesto but made with parsley). I know pesto is typically garlic and basil and this sauce wasn’t quite like that. It was more subtle and pretty good.
The white beans were my favorite of the night. The chorizo was a bit over-​cooked, but the overall taste was nice.
We will be back to sample more menu items.

Netter, neuer Laden unmittelbar in der Nähes des Belsenplatzes. Klassische, spanische Küche modern interpretiert. Die Gerichte waren wirklich auf den Punkt zubereitet und durchaus lecker. Der Service sehr freundlich, muss sich allerdings noch einspielen, da wir über 1 Std. auf unser Essen warteten und auch sonst die Aufmerksamkeit, naja, sehr durchwachsen war, obwohl genug Manpower vorhanden war.
