Pizzeria 7 Bello

We thought there was a pizza with steaks on top. and we asked if they have steaks pizza. They pointed at the menu and it was this one 15 € menu. they brought only pieces of bad quality beef with bread. We asked if it was not pizza, they said no. We asked if we could replace it, they said no. so we ate them. Wine which costed 4 € was not worth at all. Usually I could drink wine but this evening I left some even.
This guy who makes pizza was talking so loud at the counter, AND he and at least another guy working there STARTED SMOKING CIGARETTE inside of their restaurant. So horrible! Never go back again.
Oh and outdoor seats were right next to busy car road, so the air was bad and I saw some dust floating on my wine at some point. not relaxing atmosphere at all.

This place deserves 6 stars. The best al fresco pizza experience outside of Italy (although they have tables inside too). Freshly cooked, great choice, superb happy staff and you forget you’re in a side street near to the main train station very quickly.
Huge garlic pizza bread, two amazing pizzas and a litre of Italian wine. € 30.
Definitely going back when next in Frankfurt. Couldn’t fault it one bit.

Das Essen schmeckt, die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Der einzige Nachteil für mich ist: zu Mittagszeit ist es meistens sehr voll und eng.

Gute Pizzeria mit sehr sehr fairen Preisen, mittags gut besucht und auch mehr was für eine schnelle Mittagspause. Eine Hand voll Pasta Gerichte die schnell und frisch zum Tisch gebracht werden.

Auch hier muss der Bello draussen bleiben.
Ist ja auch zu eng und kuschelig.
Nachdem mir nach Nudeln war, musste ich mal wieder das Bello-​Feeling erleben.
Da schon etwas später dran, war es mit dem Platz kein Problem.
Der bekannte Tagesschmierzettel gab die üblichen Gerichte an. Ich nahm Penne arrabiata, ein Glas Weisswein und später einen Espresso.
Wahrscheinlich vermutete frau in der Küche, dass ich heute noch einen Marathon laufen wollte und füllte den Teller mit viielen Nudeln. Geschmacklich wie immer ok. Nach 15 Gabeln etwas langweilig.
Das ganze Gedeck mit Vino und Espresso kostete tutto completto sette Euro.
Difficile da credere ma vero…

Staying at a hotel around the corner. Found this place on Unilocal.Walked in around 8pm– tables were full and two other people were also waiting for take-​away, but the staff was really nice and the pizza was done quickly! Had the Pizza Bello, recommended by Unilocalers– good choice! A little soggy in the middle, but I liked the crust overall and the toppings were good and generous. I picked up the middle slice first to break the egg yolk and drizzle it over the rest of the pizza. Delicious! Strongly recommend. If you exit the Hauptbahnhof (central train station) from the north exit (by the McDonald’s), this restaurant is only two blocks– 5 min (or less) walk.

Came here last year on a recommendation from a couple Canadians so I was a bit skeptical, and the situation didn’t create the best experience (it was raining, I came and got 4 pies Togo for my team that was waiting hungry back at the fair) so I had to return to give this place it’s proper justice…
And holy slam dunk batman this place is off the hinges… Order the pizza bello special, with artichoke and peppers, and an egg on top… Out of this world, nothing like it on the planet!

Die leckerste Pizza, die ich in Deutschland je gegessen habe. Super freundliches Personal, kleiner, lauter, aber sehr sauberer Laden. Wir saßen keine 5 Minuten, da kam schon die dampfende Pizza zu uns an den Tisch. Hier wird gespart am Fett, aber nicht an frischen Zutaten. Wie ein kleiner Italienurlaub, morgen gehen wir gleich wieder hin. Molto gustoso! :)

The reasonable prices and great service, don’t be surprised it might be a bit hectic sometimes and you have to share a table. Nevertheless, the team is always super friendly even for peak times plus they serve a pleasant Italian pizza, perfect ratio of dough.
Which i really look out for, always happy to go by this place.

Endlich mal wieder ‘né richtig leckere Pizza, bei der einfach alles stimmte:
Nicht zu klein, nicht zu groß, der Teig nicht zu dick und nicht zu dünn, perfektes Verhältnis von Boden und Belag, geschmacklich «fantastico». Am Preis gibt’s ebenfalls nix zu meckern. Und lange warten musste ich auch nicht. Daher werde ich wiederkommen und mich durch die Karte probieren.
Mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen :-)

Ich kann nur das FAZIT von Bonusmeile wiederholen (zumindest zur Mittagszeit, abends war ich noch nicht da):
Gutes Essen. Lebendige Atmo. Schneller Service. Sehr guter Preis. Machen!
Die Speisekarte wird immer noch auf nem «Getränke-​Block» (für mich «Skatergebnis-​Aufschreibzettel») in Handschrift präsentiert. Kaum leserlich, allerdings dazu auch mit gesprochenem Text vom jeweiligen Service.
Hier kann man alles essen (glaube ich). Auf dem Tisch steht gutes Öl und Balsamico-​Essig als Applikation für dies und das sowie getrocknete Pepperoni (wie bei Italienern in den 70ern).
Service immer freundlich, italienisch (nahezu Wienerisch) charmant-​unterwürfig. Gezahlt wird an der Kasse innen (jedenfalls mittags).
Irgendwie Kult. Seit Jahrzehnten.

Ich hatte eine Pizza mit Parmaschinken und extra Gorgonzola war auch kein Problem bei der Bestellung. Die Pizza hat gut geschmeckt und hat meinen Erwartungen entsprochen aber nicht von Stuhl gehauen. Grundsätzlich kann man diesen Imbiss schon empfehlen wenn man kein Wert auf Ambiente legt.

Ich habe schon wirklich lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen. Musste anschließend noch woanders essen gehen, da hungrig raus. Trockener Mozzarella, Salat der den Namen nicht verdient, wässrige Tomaten, alles nicht gewürzt. Billigstes Olivenöl auf dem Tisch, die Flasche schon komplett angepappt. Alter Pizzateig, falsch gebacken, Öl überströmt. Billigster Wein, schööön warm (Weißwein) Der Nachbartisch war auch überhaupt nicht zufrieden mit den Rinderfiletstreifen. Sollen mega zäh gewesen sein. Auch auf den Hinweis, dass es ok ist und man keine neue Version benötigt, haben es sich die Kellner nicht nehmen lassen noch zweimal mit einer neuen Portion anzutanzen. Es wurde nicht besser…

Italian food for reasonable prices, fast & friendly service. 7 Bello is our cantine. We love it. During lunch time it is packed but don’t worry. They will get you a table :-).

Super inexpensive, fast and easy to work with (bilingual) service, and incredible, authentic Italian food.

If you are staying by the main Bahnhof and looking for some very good pizza at a decent price, you won’t be disappointed. Lots of choices. My wife and I shared a spinach and egg pizza and the house salad (with tuna), and we were stuffed. There is ample sliced bread as the side. The inside seating is limited, but to me, the outside street picnic bench seating is preferable, and adds to the experience. You are eating in a street side parking area, with an occasional tram going by at arms length (if you are in the last row), but it’s safe. And the car traffic is light. The only negative is that there is no draft beer, just bottles (and wine). But given its location, you wouldn’t want tipsy people this close to traffic. And the general area is not hurting for bars, so draft beer is not missed. You’ll enjoy the food and atmosphere. The wait staff was great, too. And, when you go in to pay, you must tell them what you had. It’s different, but a nice touch!

Super Pizza und Rinderfilet-​Streifen mit Rosmarin (das duftet genauso wie es schmeckt). Kleine Stehpizza und mittags sehr voll, auch abends kann es eng werden.

After reading the first couple of reviews, I was excited to try this place. I see it on my walk from the train station and it always has a crowd in the evenings and nothing says good food better than a crowd.
We went for dinner with our kids and quickly found a spot at a table outside — it’s fun to share the tables with others. They don’t have menus in English, but pizza is pizza, so it wasn’t too hard to figure out what to order. We ordered 3 different pizzas — the one with egg and spinach, some spicy sausage one and then a cheese for the kids. The pizzas all came out quickly and tasted good, not great. Frankly, I was disappointed in the quality after seeing the large crowds, including the night we were there. It’s just okay, nothing special, other than the outside ambiance.
One thing of note, is how to pay the bill. This was a first for me — I walked to the counter and the cashier asked what I had for dinner. What? The honor system? Yep, I listed out everything we ordered and he rang it up and that was that. They don’t accept credit cards, but the prices are pretty low — I think we spent 37 euros for 3 pizzas, a salad, a couple beers and a couple large waters — what a deal.

Für den Preis ist das einfach nur der Hammer. Die Pizzen sind absolut zu empfehlen!

Stayed at the Pure hotel, walked a couple doors down to this totally awesome pizza place. You know a restaurant will have great pizza when the place is full and the entire staff speaks Italian. Visited twice and had kick @$$ pizza both times. The service is great and the atmosphere is fun, plus cheap beers (€ 2).

Bereits um nach 14 Uhr folgte ich einem Tipp aus einem Reiseführer und besuchte das 7 Bello.
Ich kann ein positives Fazit daraus schliessen.
Bedienung
Auf meine Anfrage, ob noch Warmes zu bekommen sei, wurden mir gleich die Angebote inkl. Mittagstisch vorgeschlagen.
Das Essen
Ich entschied mich für die Orecchiette mit Tomaten-​Sahnesauce, welche mir dank ihres Garpunktes ‘al dente’ zusagten.
Das Ambiente
Recht lebhafte aber familiäre und lockere Bistro-​Atmosphäre.
Sauberkeit
Keine negativen Bemerkungen diesbezüglich zu machen.

Dafür, dass es ein einfacher Steh-​Italiener ist, gebe ich 5 Punkte. Immer was los und leckeres Essen. Seit 2012 habe ich das Gefühl, dass frischer Wind im Service weht. Man wird immer nett begrüßt, sie erkennen einen wieder und halten auch mal einen Schwatz. Das war nicht immer so — es ist viel persönlicher geworden im 7 Bello. Daher ein Ort zum Wiederkehren. Könnte an der ein oder anderen Stelle etwas günstiger sein. Die kleinen frittierten Sardinen (nur am Dienstag) sind übrigens eine Wucht.

Gleich vorab: Zum romantischen Dinner à deux ist das 7 Bello definitiv nichts … Wir waren gestern abend erstmalig mit Freunden aus Frankfurt dort und es hat sich gelohnt! Abends ist (nicht ohne Grund) die Bude brechend voll, die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und mit ungekünsteltem italienischen Charme, der Chef allseits präsent und am Dauerrotieren… Die Umgebung im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel mal Beiseite lassend ist das 7 Bello eine Mischung aus Imbiss und Restaurant mit Stehtischen mit ebenso (angenehm) gemischten Publikum. Die Küche ist (bei einem mehr als moderaten) Preisniveau sehr lecker — die interessantesten Sachen (Antipasti, Lamm mit Rosmarin/​Knoblauch) stehen nicht auf der Karte; wer’s lebendig liebt bei guter italienischer Küche, ist hier genau richtig! Fazit: Das 7 Bello kommt mit auf den ‘Frankfurt-​Schirm’, wir kommen wieder.

A real must if you are in the area!
7 Bello has perfect pizza and pasta. An absolute recommendation is the tagliata served in hot olive oil with Rosemary and pepper. An easy dish made perfect.
The prices are also really fair for the dishes served!

Ich war das erste Mal im 7Bello und damit bestimmt ein Exot.
Kein Wunder: Ordentliche Pasta in authentischer Atmosphäre zu äußerst günstigem Preis (gem.Tagesteller mit Getränk 6EUR) und das ganze fix und freundlich in Nähe der Mainzer und des Bahnhofs.
Fazit: Wer keine zu hohen Ansprüche stellt macht hier nichts falsch. 3*** fürs Essen, einen Bonus für den günstigen Preis.

hübsch klein (innen Steh-​/​Hochtische, aussen Festbänke), voll und nicht für mehrgängiges prego-​Essen gemacht! Der PLatz scheint sehr begehrt und die Klientel ist angenehm durchmischt.
Wer noch schnell eine anständige Pizza, einen ordentlichen Pasta-​Teller und schnelles Kuscheln mit den Kellnern möchte, ist an der richtigen Adresse!
Fünf für (fast) alles — vier für den Komfort.

Super günstige Pizza und Pasta. Laden mittags gerammelt voll, man wird auch schon mal mit Fremden an einen Tisch gequetscht. Essen kommt sehr schnell und genauso schnell der Kellner wenn man fertig ist, aber immer noch da sitzt, schließlich wartet schon weitere Kundschaft.
Für Mittags trotzdem ideal.

Am Sonntag war es soweit: Wir haben uns auf den Weg ins 7 Bello gemacht!
So einen leckeren und fluffigen Pizzateig habe ich noch NIE gegessen! Die Pizza war einfach nur toll und geschmacklich sehr, sehr gut! Das Personal war freundlich und am Sonntag war auch nicht viel los.
Einfach wunderbar!

Die Pizzeria 7 Bello ist nicht nur für ihre Pizza, sondern auch für die hervorragende Pasta bekannt. Dabei besticht das Lokal weder durch die Einrichtung noch durch die Lage, sondern wirklich nur durch die Qualität des Essens. Gelegen im multikulturellen Frankfurter Gallusviertel in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs findet man hier mittags vor allem Banker, aber eben auch Straßenhändler. Sie alle vereint die nette und unkomplizierte Atmosphäre. Man sitzt auf Barhockern an Stehtischen und bekommt keine Karte, sondern dass flinke Personal rattert die wenigen frischen Pasta und Pizza Gerichte aus Kopf herunter. Wer also einen gemütlichen Italiener sucht, bei dem man den Abend mit Rotwein und Essen verbringt ist hier falsch. Wer eine Möglichkeit sucht, hervorragende Pizza oder Pasta zu essen, und dann weiterzuziehen (egal ob mittags oder Abends) ist hier genau richtig!

Eigentlich schon fast schade, dass dieser Ort überhaupt hier gelandet ist.
Bis vor einiger Zeit war es nämlich ein wirklicher Geheimtipp.
Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen trotz mittlerweile sehr häufigen Besuchs nicht nachvollziehen.
Wir verstehen uns jedes Mal super mit dem Personal und fühlen uns ausgesprochen individuell und persönlich behandelt.
Die Pizza scheint hier ja immer wieder schlechter wegzukommen ich sag euch, lasst sie links liegen! Die Vorspeisenplatte in Verbindung mit der Tagliata (hier: in Olivenöl gebrutzeltes Rindfleisch mit Rosmarin) ist der absolute Hammer!

It was late. We had consumed many bottles of wine. Although we had already had dinner, we were still hungry. Pizzeria 7 Bello accepted five of us, brought us a tasty thin crust pizza and wonderful german beer. What could be better? Thank you.

Great place for lunch near the train station. The times I have been, they have the pasta and pizza selections for the day written on a little note pad and on weekdays you can also request a mix of the pasta specials. I heartily recommend it. The tallying of the final bill seems sometimes a bit random, but we have always paid a fair price. Fair warning: the place can get very crowded at noon, but they seem to manage to squeeze everyone in.

Tout près de la gare. Impossible de passer à Frankfort sans s’y arrêter. Une ambiance inexplicable, faite de brutalités et de chaleur. Il né faut pas longtemps pour s’y faire et comprendre les codes: direct et décontracté. A la sortie, le patron vous demande combien vous lui devez ! La dernière fois, j’y suis revenu un quart d’heure après l’avoir quitté: j’avais oublié de compter le dessert de ma femme dans mon addition. Depuis cinq ou six ans que j’y vais, j’ai goûté à peu près tous les plats. Que du plaisir. Dehors ou dedans, serrés sur de grandes tables encombrées, toujours des rencontres inattendus, chaleureuses et polyglottes. Prix tellement imbattables qu’au moment de payer, on né peut pas s’empêcher de les rallonger un peu. Ceux qui préfèrent les restos où l’on réserve devront chercher une autre adresse.

Go for it, yes it’s a Frankfurt reliable classic, go for the Spinach & Egg pizza or the meat plate, pay individually or tot up the bill in your head beforehand as things tend to get a little inflated if the guy at the till is a bit tipsy and distracted by female customers (which is most of the time)…

This place is an absolute Frankfurt classic — the mixture of people is as interesting as the city. The food is great as long as you stay away from the pasta. The meat plate is a must for all non-​vegetarians. Don’t get upset with the waiters. Like them for how they are, go with the flow or stay away. They will not change for you, it’s part of the deal at 7Bello.
The place is just totally crammed between 20.30−22h, no reservations taken. Multiple parties at each table, which makes for interesting conversations.
