Cellnetrix is a developer and provider of embedded software for smart cards, secure elements and smart devices.

The company implements software on different hardware platforms and delivers industry-​grade secure smart card operating system CellSIM OS targeted for universal subscriber identity modules (USIM) and other secure network-​connected devices, develops secure smart card-​centric value-​added applications, provides consultancy and technical support services. Embedded products provided by Cellnetrix are fully based on cross-​industry international standards and make it possible for various companies: silicon, smart card, telecommunications hardware manufacturers, mobile and virtual operators as well as service providers to deliver innovative secure solutions and innovative services to their customers.

Firmengeschichte

Hat 2007 eröffnet.

2008. After successful completion of several smart card development projects the company concentrated on secure embedded solutions based on such standards as Java Card and ETSI UICC complying with modern requirements for convergence, network connectivity and interoperability. A new R&D company, Cellnetrix Technology LLC was established to address new extended R&D activities.

2009. Cellnetrix released CellSIM OS, world’s first smart card UICC-​based operating system freely licensable in binary and source form royalty-​free, deeply customizable to particular product requirements and fully based on Java Card 2.2 standards.

2011 Nuremberg based MaskTech Group, a leading independent provider of highly secure embedded products, became one of shareholders of Cellnetrix Technology LLC.

2012 Cellnetrix has more than 50 customers world-​wide.
