+ food is fresh + food tasted ok but nothing special as for me to say that I’d pick them over any other Vietnamese restaurant/fast food store + service with a smile from the owner — food presentation is basic. Could have used bowls for some of the dishes. It would’ve also been easier to eat the food — food was served cold — the rice was overcooked or old so that parts of it was clumped together in hard packets. Was not edible. — waitress was totally overwhelmed and wasn’t attentive — we were there for lunch and we had to wait about 15min until the waitress took our order. Food only came 40min later — drinks came AFTER our food was served. Enough said. To the restaurant owner or manager: get your shit together because your food isn’t too bad but everything else lacks attention and isn’t tolerated.

What can I say? Another Asian Imbiss, or express restaurant, just opened catering to the white people in Hannover. We ordered the phở and the bun cha gio and both were very watered down, soulless versions of the real thing and not a bit of fish sauce anywhere. The bun cha gio, usually fried pork spring rolls on top of rice noodles with cucumber, peanuts, fresh spring onions and sweet basil with fish sauce – was just the chicken spring rolls with peanuts and green onion on top of some rice noodles in some sort of sugar water. It was pretty gross. If you’re interested in just fried spring rolls, the chicken ones here are not bad even if they’re far from the original pork ones. Otherwise, steer clear if you are looking for authentic Vietnamese or Thai food. Service is friendly.
