Come here to get your bar on. Ben the owner is from Texas and he runs a tight ship. If I like this bar you will also. Only place here to watch NFL Football!!!

Highly underrated bar in landstuhl! I’d spent years frequenting the other bars/pubs, and after a few stops at this bar, I feel like I’ve been missing out by not knowing about this place sooner. Great service, friendly staff, very spacious, smoking room is better insulated/ventilated than any other place in town, pool table, darts, poker table, and TVs.

This is a little gem somewhat hidden in Landstuhl. Every time friends and I go to this Irish Pub we end up having a great time. The atmosphere is laid back and there are 5 areas to congregate throughout the pub. First is the outside seating that includes some basic benches and possibly umbrellas. Second, is the bar area that’s located right inside the door which has some stools and a couple small tables. Third is the«music room» where nearly every weekend they have some form of live music playing. Fourth is a pool area, and fifth is the smoking room that has it’s own bar(that May or may not be tended) and a juke box with modern songs. The prices at the pub are fair whether it be liquor, beer, or wine. They also serve some fresh/hot food from their kitchen(small pizzas and things of the sort) for reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and engaging, the crowd is usually fun and agreeable. If you get a chance check out the Red Lion!

Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Plus, the drinks aren’t ridiculously priced like other places near K-Town. Definitely the best bar I’ve been to around here.

This cute little pub tucked away in Landstuhl didn’t wow me right away. In fact, the noise level from the street made me apprehensive about even going in. But what I found inside was a different story. The Red Lion did the basics correct. I can’t stress how important that is when you’re in the service industry. I wasn’t kept waiting at the bar for more than 30 seconds at any time. The service was impeccable, and getting a cold beer in my hand right away is always the best shortcut to a happy customer experience. I’ll mention that they had a tendency to over-pour, but if you don’t mind the taste they’re really only hurting themselves by doing so. Surprisingly, the drinks we ordered weren’t overpriced like many of the other bars around K-Town. The second shortcut to a good customer experience was to leave me feeling good about my bill, because leaving happy made me want to come back. The bad is that live music does nothing for me. And if you’re like me, having to walk in front of a guitar player in the corner is incredibly rude. More-so for the musician than myself, but when I’m forced to walk by your entertainment with an uninterested look on my face, it brings the whole bar down. So maybe it’s time to invest in a better set up for music. But if you’re in to the intimate feel of bar music, then it’s your place. They had TVs with football, but no great places to watch them. They have bar stools, but people ordering and staff walking to-and-fro would make it even more uncomfortable to try sitting there. But a clean bathroom and enough table space for my group seemed to work just fine. The Red Lion hit me a one-two punch of good service and good prices. With a few tweaks and fixes, this could easily be a top-notch neighourhood pub.

Very neat little pub in Landstuhl. Good beer and atmosphere. Didn’t have a chance to try the food, so I’m looking forward to that the next time I’m there.
