Unbeschreiblich. Wie immer. Man muss die Lounge erleben.

If you are flying Lufthansa First Class or their HON(super elite status) member, you get to use this lounge. There are similar ones at Frankfurt airport, and those are much larger than this one at Munich. I had a few hours to kill after arriving from LAX and until my connecting flight. One of the coolest features is that they have their own immigration officer within the lounge, so there is no need for you to go through the separate immigration area and get into a long queue. You just hand your passport to the officer, then go straight to the sitting areas. There are a couple of sitting areas, bar, restaurant, spa(shower and bath), cigar lounge, and kids’ area as well. At the restaurant section, you can pick up food from the buffet area, but also order ala carte items from servers. Sushi pieces at the buffet area looked dry and sad, so I did not touch them. Instead I ordered Wiener Schnitzel and it was very good. I sat at the bar enjoying some German Pinot Noir after the meal. It gets slightly busy between 8:00 and 9:30pm due to evening departure passengers start coming in, but it’s still nothing like Senator lounge which is almost always like a zoo and you could barely find a place to sit. If your connecting flight departs from one of those remote locations(not connected to the terminal), they will give you a ride to your plane in a fancy car. Unfortunately my flight was departing from the same terminal with only 5 min walk, so I had to walk. :p
