Visiting from another post and different Kaserne, the selections are like night and day. Pricing from my home post is different from here, even being in the same footprint. Awesome selections of many items, and larger than my own, I very much enjoyed coming here and will again. Checkout was speedy, regardless of how many items. I may travel now to get my groceries!

This commissary isn’t the very best I’ve been to, however it has a lot more variety and stock than the commissaries on Panzer, Kelly, and RB. There are several excellent baggers, but my favorite is Flordilez or Flor. She is always smiling, she packs the bags with great organization, and she is always happy to see and talk with the kids. I really like the deli, there are a few employees that need to learn how to not pile so much veg on their wraps and wrap them better, however I like the availability of something fresh and filling for such a cheap price compared to the food court!

There is a lady who works in the deli(forgot to get her name) needing extra training on wrap-making. She makes sloppy wraps by adding disproportionate amounts, making the wrap impossible to roll neatly. What I do every time she’s making them is GUIDE her-«Not that much lettuce» or «Will you be able to tuck it and roll it with that much in the middle?» Otherwise, the rest of the commissary is pretty good. Although, they don’t have a standard date format when they crank out expiration date stickers. So you have to guess if «08−09» means September 8 or August 9. Look closely at their expiration labels as one time I bought snacks that expired and began to mold. They don’t seem to monitor this.

Out of the four available, this one is the biggest commissary as far as space and selection. The deli counter is pretty decent and the guys are really friendly. You can get a freshly made sandwich super cheap too. All the meat is frozen so if looks fresh, it’s not. It will tell you not to refreeze. You can get some pretty good deals. Baby back ribs for around $ 5 for a double rack… not bad. Make sure you watch prices… not for sale items but just the regular price. Since they sell at 10% over cost the price goes up and down with each shipment. Also, pay attention in the produce section. Some things that you are used to paying«each» for is charged by the pound. Lettuce, for example, is typically $ 0.75PERHEAD but here it is PERLBS. Lettuce is pretty heavy when you aren’t paying attention.

Better selection and hours than the Panzer commissary. Great service from the kind cashiers!
