I picked out a beautiful ring from the window display.
Reasons for 2 stars:
The size of the stone to be set into my ring was changed without our consent. We agreed to a larger stone and ooh, surprise, the jeweler decided to put in a smaller one without talking to us first.
We wanted a diamond certificate that tells us the origin of the diamond. We just want to be sure that we’re not helping to finance the marketing of blood diamonds. We were told that they would only provide such a certificate for an additional 200 euros. Ridiculous. It should be a matter of course after we spent a fortune at their store that they provide us with a certificate of quality and origin for our stone.
The sales clerk continuously spelled our name wrong and mispronounced it repeatedly. I do not want to know how much money that man made for selling me a ring I already picked out and with a smaller stone than we requested… He did no work and the jewelers did not complete the order as requested.
I am not interested in ever shopping here again.
Two stars are for the ring at least looking somewhat like the design, which really is a beautiful ring.
