Coming from Singapore the food Paradise, it is not easy finding food with a standard comparable to what we are used to. I refused to try Chinese food/Asian food in Finland(due to first bad experience, expensive and not authentic chinese food) but my husband kept telling me to have an open mind and give others a chance. So I did and he brought me to Chinaman. To my(huge) surprise the food was great, seasonings were Asian(I had the kwa Thai noodles with chicken) and the food was value for money — generous portions and inexpensive. 7.9e. My husband had the Chicken noodle in Malaysian seasoning — which was tasty but not really anything Malaysian. If it is meant to be Malaysian, its modified and catered for western taste buds. Way too sweet for my liking. Would definitely go back again.

This was their second chance with me. I first ate food from there in 2009 or something. I did not enjoy it. Ordering online was very easy. One can also pay directly from their account. There is a delivery fee. This was unusual, since most places have free delivery. We stuck to the Chinese food menu because if we wanted Thai we would order from a Thai place. I don’t like the concept of mixwd cuisines when it isn’t fission. This time around, the food was very good. The Boss with pork was a pleasant surprise. It was lo mein with a nice flavour. The kung pao chicken was nice with cashews. I am not sure it had peppercorn or chili peppers. No prob, it wasn’t spicey. The sauce was good. The chicken fried rice was ok. Not so much flavour, it was yellow, and it did not seem fried. The sweet and sour chicken was good, the sauce seemed a bit runny. The fried chicken and fried shrimp were good. The serving size if the individual containers was good and fair priced. The meal was s bit overpriced for the amount of food. Overall, it was above average for Helsinki. We would order from there again.
