I was discouraged from visiting this restaurant based on ratings and reviews in Finnish that I’m not able to read. However, it was getting late after a day trip to Tallinn and not much was open. I shouldn’t have been concerned. My wife and I split a pizza and a Caesar salad with chicken. There was so much food that we weren’t hungry after eating about half, but it was so good that we kept going until we were full. The pizza was not like U.S. pizza that I’m used to but it was really good. The salad was also very good and the service was tops. The prices were very reasonable and so it was a great value.

Best gluten-free pizza in Helsinki choose what ever topping you want and enjoy. Great service too. Five thumbs

We had a Pizza Tihuana and a smoked salmon pasta with garlic. Pizza was crispy and tasty, with intense flavours. There was so much pasta that we couldn’t finish it all, but we were offered a doggy bag for it. There were quite many customers on Sunday, bit after midday, but service was nice and swift.

Ristorante Dennis is small restaurant chain that offer Italian food in Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. Some might now say: «Chain? Well, can’t be good.» But those places are really recommendable. They offer a nice selection of pizza and pasta and also have seasonable offers that are recommendable. You will definitely find something that you like. If you want a good Italian pizza, this is the place to go. The dough is thin and crispy and prepared and doesn’t hide the taste of the toppings. No wonder Dennis already exists in Finland for almost 40 years. The portions are huge. But try to keep some space for the dessert. Dennis is one of the really few places in Helsinki where you get ice cream bowls. To find your prefect bowl check the separate menu. To find the closest Dennis, take a look at their website. Buon appetito!
