My in-​laws recommended this place so we tough why not try it out. It is located near Hakaniemi. I recommended to book a table, because can get busy.
Place is very nice and clean. Decoration and atmosphere were elegant but not too sophisticated so you feel special but without pressure. Service was great, professional and efficient. When I looked around I noticed quite few young professional people enjoying their meals as well although first impression might be that this place is more for mature people.
Menu is gathered with season specialties and place is very well known for their grill (beefs and fish) and some classics which definitely I can understand why they are still around after all these years. Also they have great selection of wine and beer to complement your food.
For starter we had «BEEF TARTAR15,50 € hollandaise sauce and green asparagus from our charcoal grill» which was divine. Best! For main course «FRIED SCALLOPS29,50 € asparagus risotto, scallops» was perfectly cooked and super delicious. I felt asparagus in the risotto was little too chunky but taste was perfect. Also portions are really big so, also house bread was fresh and yummy.
Over all I can see myself going back cold winter evening and indulge myself with something from the grill and nice red wine.
