Lunch service for 9.90 choice of beef and rice or 2 topping pizza. The taste was good but portions were small. The pizza was razor thin, my credit card was thicker. There was no spread for the bread, only oil and vinegar to dip. My companion was aghast that their lunch did NOT include salad. We shared our food with two kids because they did not have a lunch menu for kids. It was not spectacular.

I recently had a Saturday lunch at this La Famiglia. The décor is good and it’s a kid friendly place. The server was friendly and provided us with menus and some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The prices seemed rather high, exasperated by the fact that the lunch specials were week day only. I took the chicken Caesar salad and it did not end well. The portion was small, the lettuce wasn’t particularly fresh, the chicken was dry, and it was over priced. Think Olive Garden in the US but worse dishes and triple the price. From the other reviews, maybe pizza is the thing to order at this restaurant. I left disappointed and can honestly say I don’t plan on dining here again any time soon. The table service, however, was great by Finnish standards so excellent job there, staff :)

A good place for pizza. Had a New York pizza with Pepperoni and Mozzarella on top for lunch on Saturday. Thin and crisp base with a good sauce — mouth watering combo with a Coke. The kids(2 and 5 yrs) enjoyed a half of a kids’ pizza with ham and pineapple toppings — couldn’t finish though. The pizzas were around 14EUR. Did not go for the desserts — Ben & Jerry’s’ was right next to the La Famiglia. Nice surroundings with old photos on the walls, red and white checkered table cloths, candles, colouring books for the kids, sofas for coffee, open kitchen and friendly staff. I’d come back for a descent pizza.
