I took my parents here when they visited. Mom always balked at Chinese food before, because she lived a long while in Taiwan, and it spoiled her for real Chinese food. Long Wall is the only place since those days to get the thumb’s up from her. The Finns giving bad reviews are confusing Chinese with Thai. That’s where they vacation, and that’s how spicy they expect the food to be. Local places cater to that, which is why you see so many Chinese/Thai restaurants. Long Wall is Chinese, and their standards have always been great.

Sauber, recht groß, laut war es nicht, aber sehr regsam. ;) Würde ich wieder essen gehen. Nur die Bedienung erschien uns überfordert… ;-)

It’s been more than 20 years since I had my first meal here. On some trips to Helsinki — back in my swinging bachelor days — I might sup here three or more times a week before strolling over to what was my favorite nightclub in the world, Vanha Maestro(now closed). There is a reason why I keep going back to the Long Wall: They’ve got great food; a warm, relaxing ambiance; and decent prices by Helsinki standards. Last week, my wife and I had lunch here: I had my usual pineapple chicken(13.30 Euros), which comes with white rice. The Mrs. had a dumpling soup(8.60 Euros). The pineapple chicken tasted as good as ever, and my wife was happy with her lunch. I’ve had more meals at this restaurant than at any other outside of North America. I can’t think of any reason to give the Long Wall less than five stars.

Finns always comment this place is «old» but nobody complains about the food. I think its very good! Been here about four times and always left full and happy. I came here for my birthday(it is also good for reserving groups) and was eating off all different plates so I cant say what dishes are best just that it was a yummy experience. Also very central, easy to find, nice décor and fair prices.
