On the outskirts of Helsinki in a nice residential area on an island a couple have decided to open a tiny café and coffee roastery. They have the place in an old shopping center where most of the spaces are just empty. They have managed to create a very nice space in a building that otherwise mostly looks like a concrete remanent of something that belongs in the former Soviet Union. The opening hours are a bit random so always best to check their Facebook page before heading here. The space has two tables inside and one outside and perhaps space for maximum 10 people in total. The menu is simple, there are a few of their own roasted coffees(roasted on site in their small 1 kilo roaster) and one can have them either hot or cold and if one wants with milk. They also serve nice teas from German tea maker Paper and Tea and some fruit beverages. They also have some raw cake and hot sandwiches. Very simple but great quality, especially the coffee is nicely prepared. Service is very friendly and relaxed so a real favorite spot of mine.
