Friendly staff, a nice breakfast buffet which they offer regular coffee, an espresso based and a smoothie for drinks. We went for the regular coffee which was very good already! Then again, if you have room in your stomach after trying out all the food, why not go for a stronger coffee too?

The chia seed, coconut mango concoction may be pricey(€ 4.50) but it is fantastic. I am sitting here back in London thinking about it, wishing it would appear on my breakfast table — alas, no luck. However, I can dream and write and Unilocal and hopefully help someone else find the chia haven. This is a really sweet little café with a nice little lunch offering, coffees, teas, juices. etc. Pro-tip — you can grab the wifi access from Mille Mozzarella next door(no password needed). It worked for me for about an hour, so not bad!

Stumbled upon this place on a Sunday morning around 11:00. Decent cup of coffee but wasn’t the ‘OMG’ experience I was expecting; considering it had been featured in a few tour books as a must go to. They do put on a interesting Sunday brunch for 10 € full of deli meats, cheeses and more with beautiful loaves of bread for sale. Was very busy and popular joint among the locals.

Great coffee, fabulous organic food and just great staff. That is SIS Deli in Korkeavuorenkatu. I love the personal service when getting my coffee there in the morning or in the evening when I get home. The salads and sandwiches are always fresh and available in a great variety. Try the delicious heart shaped buns!
