Hôtel du Globe

Un excellent hotel a aix en Provence ! Accueil très sympa, propreté impeccable des chambres et des différents espaces.
Il y a même deux ou trois chambres pour une personne a 42 euros ! Dans ce cas la douche ou les wc sont sur la palier. Le petit déjeuner a 8 euros est un buffet très correct, vous pouvez même demander des expresso… il y a aussi une formule a 4 euros moins complète, mais qui est plus adaptée aux petits appétits du matin avec un café, un croissant, un jus… c’est une bonne adresse que je vous conseille chaleureusement !

We stayed here twice in July and had the most wonderful experiences both times. The rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable, even if a bit small. Both times we were given one of the newly renovated rooms with a balcony and we had no complaints. We particularly enjoyed the nice view from our balcony in the evenings. The front desk staff was lovely and incredibly friendly. This hotel provides great value for the money. I will definitely stay there again when I am back in Aix.

Très bon petit hôtel, excellente réception, aide au client. Chambres confortables et petit déjeuner buffet copieux à volonté. Je le recommande.

Impossible to find… very noisy, mediocre. I would never stay there again. I was in room # 9. It was so loud, I could hear all kinds of noises that I did not want to hear. The worst was constant water flowing from upward. The toilet, the shower, the sink. It was very loud and woke me up everytime.
Perhaps if you stayed on the top floor it would be OK. I would not recommend it and I would not stay there again.

Wir waren im Juni 2008 dort, das Hotel ist offensichtlich recht neu renoviert. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kommt zu Fuß gut zu den wichtigsten Punkten. Kleine Hotelgarage (kostenpflichtig), sehr praktisch.
Unser Zimmer war zwar nicht groß, aber sehr sauber und es gab einen Balkon (obere Etage). Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Nichtraucherzimmer, aber für den Balkon habe ich problemlos einen Aschenbecher bekommen.
Für die Lage durchaus preiswert. Wir haben andere **Hotels in der gleichen Preiskategorie gesehen, die deutlich weniger einladend waren. Eigentlich hätte das Hotel eher drei Sterne verdient. Aufzug gibt’s auch.
Frühstück ist für Frankreich gut, leckere Brötchen und Brot, aber halt nur Konfitüre, mir fehlt in F immer die Wurst und der Käse
Sehr gutes Preis-​Leistungsverhältnis.

A deux pas du… terne !
Hôtel non fumeur (sauf erreur), ce qu’il faut préciser… un accueil absent et des chambres pas toujours fonctionnelles (portes d’armoires qui butent contre porte de chambre). La possibilité de parking est plus que réduite. Des touristes venant dans le cadre du «week-​end à Aix» (pub faite partout et notamment au Syndicat d’initiative) n’obtiennent pas les «petits cadeaux» promis… Il est vrai que c’est presque au centre… et alors?

Erreur
On avait réservé, par téléphone, il y a eu une erreur, ils nous ont oubliés, ils l’ont réparé mais on a eu une chambre après une attente pas trop cool… et pas d’excuses. On aurait tendance à né retenir que ça alors pour le reste… peu de choses à dire, à choisir prenez en un autre…
