Modern hotel, close to Laplace metro station, friendly staff(who are much better with English than anticipated). Can use Wi-Fi in restaurant and(very small) lobby or pay $ 15 euros per day for use in your room. This was the cleanest, most modern and comfortable room we stayed in during our Gate 1 trip to London, Paris and Rome. There was an American outlet in the bathroom, which was helpful, and they have a little shop in the lobby for purchasing essentials such as toiletries and water… pricey, though. There is a fridge and a window that opens slightly with a mall across the street. Note that this hotel is pretty far from tourist destinations and would be a pricey Über or cab ride or typically multiple train transfers for us. A direct train to Notre Dame if you are doing hop on/hop off bus or boat tours(which are SO worth the money). Great hotel but we would likely not stay here again due to the location.

Pro: room r big and clean, bed r really comfortable, breakfast r tasty, good quality and lots selections of food, Con: far away from Paris, everywhere u go sightseeing u need to take train about 20 – 30 mins ride. If u plan on shopping specially expensive items, take taxi back to hotel, about $ 30 – 40 euro back from mid paris area. Wifi is only free at lobby, in room r $ 7 a hr or $ 10? Per day If u don’t might the distance from downtown paris, this is a good choice or hotel

We stayed here on our first leg of a 3 week trip all over Europe, saving our Marriott Points for the South of France and Rome for swankier digs… this little Courtyard is a gem! Super clean, well staffed with friendly people, and the biggest plus is the beautiful(and complimentary if you are a Marriott Platinum member, otherwise it is 20E) breakfast. Huge. You can actually eat it and not eat for the rest of the day nice. Hot eggs, sausages, tomatoes, potatoes, nice bread and pastry, yogurt, fruit, cereals, veggies, tons of fresh fruit and citrus. Even if you aren’t Platinum and have to pay, it is well worth it. Wifi is free for Platinum members too, paid otherwise. Free only in the tiny lobby. I like the area here, it’s quiet and out of the touristy craziness of downtown Paris. Just a short train ride in and out from the RER B station right down the street. TIP: If you’re here, make sure the LAPLACE station is lit on the board, or the train will not stop there!

I stayed here recently for 6 days and what made this hotel stay a good one was the friendliness of their front desk staff. Other than that, this would have been just a 3 star review. I got a really good discounted rate but in general it’s pricing is not over the top and it’s on the RER-B train line which is very convenient since it goes straight to Charles De Gaulle(took me 45 mins to get there but leave yourself an hour at least), Gare du Nord, Notre Dame and Chatelet station which transfer you to almost any other line. So while the location is not in central Paris, if you don’t mind spending some time on the train the location of this hotel is great. It’s right across the street from a mall which has free wifi(not always reliable) but compared to the very expensive wifi at the hotel it’s a godsend if you want to check email. The mall also comes in handy for a quick and cheap breakfast, although I found that not a lot of employees there spoke fluent English, but I still managed to get myself set up with a prepaid sim phone plan My biggest problems with this hotel was the fact that wifi was expensive, breakfast was almost 20 euros and completely not worth it and I had a hard time printing out my boarding pass at their business centre thanks to a really annoying printer. But I guess not everything is perfect? Oh yeah… I also could not find the ice machine anywhere. should have asked someone about that I suppose. Our room was very nice, spacious and comfy. The washroom was a little on the smaller side and their shower door was such that it’s a huge task to not have water spill out on to the bathroom floor. The TV channels were obviously mainly French, but you get CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera and 2 or 3 more british channels so you have enough TV to keep you entertained(if you don’t speak French) while you get ready in the morning or before bed. I would definitely say give this location a shot if it’s in your radar, it’s also pretty close to Luxembourgh, the Pantheon and the Catacombs if you want a short trip and all those locations have a good choice of restaurants and cafes as well.
