I hiked through Fontainebleau forest with my study abroad group to the little artist town of Barbizon. As a treat for completing our 2-hour hike, our program leaders brought us to this little creperie to enjoy a snack before heading back to Paris. We were a pretty big group(probably like 50 people) so we pretty much took up the whole restaurant. They sat us down in our tables and we were offered either chocolate or sugar crepes. I was not too impressed with the crepes I had here. They pretty much just brought us all plain crepes and then gave us bowls of sugar and their homemade chocolate sauce. The crepes were not hot by the time it got to us so I was tasting every grain of sugar on my crêpe. The service was AMAZING though, they were so sweet. I’m sure the crepes were only like this because we were such a big group ordering at the same time. If it was just a small party going, I’m sure the crepes wouldve been better. Maybe ill try it out again the next time I visit France :)
