Was in Beaune and saw several flyers for this place. Was initially very skeptical — what was a Dali museum doing in Beaune(although is Beaune any odder than St. Petersburg, Florida)? Wasn’t planning on going, but then I walked into the museum courtyard and saw two very nice Dali sculptures. Admission was 7 Euro, and I like Dali, so I decided to give it a try. Small collection, but some very nice works and some of his works(many of them sculptures) I have not seen before. There were also some interesting interactive pieces. Don’t know if all are originals(they may be), but I very much enjoyed the museum and the way the collection was arranged. I especially liked the larger back room — comfortable chairs and quiet and so a nice place to just take a look and think about all the different works in the room(including a full dining set). They also have a very nice gift shop. The owners clearly care about this place and this was one of the highlights of my trip to Beaune.
