Le Fleury à Beaune

Great location, very good atmosphere, fantastic food, nice, local wines, enticing presentation, honest, smiling service. Good value for money. I do recommend for foreigners and locals alike to come and try it.

Although I’m an avid Unilocaler, when in France, I know that I don’t need to look to a restaurant app to help me find good — great food. However, I was sorry that I didn’t read the reviews of Le Fleury before going to the restaurant, as it turned out to be such a disappointment.
We ended up in LF on our first night in Beaune, after driving all day from Paris. We were tired and hungry, and LF happened to be the first restaurant that we saw that had a table available. I can’t say that the food at LF was bad because every bite was enjoyable. It’s just that there were so few bites of it, so much so that I thought my main dish was another appetizer.
With all jokes aside, I think it’s shameful that at their price point LF is serving food that’s half the portion of other restaurants, as if to swindle people (mostly the tourists) into to thinking that’s what French haute cuisine is.
I also thought it was disgraceful that when I ordered a glass of wine, the waitress barely filled half a glass. Then, when I talked to the owner/​manager about the incident, instead of apologizing or refilling my glass, she proceeded to lecture me on the reasons why the waitress was supposed to pour only half of a glass!
Needless to say, with so many great restaurant in Beaune, I will never return to LF again, and they can certain keep their frugal attitude and portions!

Es scheinen viele Gäste des Restaurants über Hotelempfehlung zu kommen. Wir nächtigten im Ibis Beaune Center, wo wir als Empfehlung auch gleich eine Karte in die Hand gedrückt bekamen und dort zu Abend gegessen haben. Am nächsten Morgen beim Frühstück stellten wir fest, das nahezu das ganze Restaurant am Vorabend von Ibis-​Gästen gefüllt wurde. Bezüglich des Essens waren wir eher enttäuscht. Nicht wegen den kleinen Portionen, sondern eher wegen Geschmack und Optik, außerdem waren die Speisen teilweise nur noch lauwarm. Dafür ist dann auch der Menü-​Preis zu hoch. Vielleicht ist es ja so, dass die Provision für den Hotelmitarbeiter auch noch bezahlt werden muss…
Das schlimmste aber fand ich den Umgang mit uns als Gästen. Unser Sohn hatte kurz vor dem Hauptgang in Übermut in sein Saftglas (Weinglas) gebissen und hatte daraufhin ein paar Scherben im Mund. Natürlich fing er an zu schreien und das ist natürlich nicht angenehm für die anderen Gäste. Kann ich verstehen. Aber die Einfühlsamkeit des des Kellners bestand alleine darin uns mehrmals darauf hin zu weisen, dass wir mit unserem Kind doch bitte auf die Toilette gehen könnten. Der Spuk war glücklicherweise nach 5 Minuten vorbei, und alles wieder ruhig. Aber uns wurde anschießend weder die mit Apfelsaft getränkte Tischdecke erneuert, noch wurde uns ein neuer Apfelsaft angeboten. Es war eher so, dass die Kellner uns wie Luft behandelten, und uns das Gefühl gaben, dass wir nicht mehr im Lokal erwünscht waren. Daher haben wir auch direkt nach dem Nachtisch das Haus verlassen. Die einzige Ausnahme war ein ganz junger Kellner, dem die Situation auch merklich unangenehm war und der sich noch ganz lieb von unserem Sohn verabschiedete…
Daher:
Essen höchstens Durchschnitt und damit viel zu teuer
Leitung und Service in der besagten Situation einfach eine Zumutung

Je né sais pas si la direction à changé, mais nous y avons très bien diné.
Le service a été attentif sans être trop pressant, et les plats étaient vraiment pleins de saveur… les spécialités bourguignonnes légèrement réinterprétées sont bien maîtrisées.
S’il doit y avoir un petit bémol, les quantités sont peut être un peu justes pour les plus robustes appétits. Pour tous les autres cela conviendra parfaitement!

Deux couples à deux mois d’ intervalle dont un couple avec la formule cadoresto donnent un avis identique: à éviter. Le menu n’ est pas à la hauteur du prix. Vu le nombre de restaurant sur Beaune c’ est facile de trouver mieux

Rien que des compliments !!!
Quand je dis «j’ai été bloqué par la neige pendant deux jours à Beaune», tout le monde répond: pas fou, visites prolongées des hospices avec dégustation !!! J’ajoute: oui bien sûr, mais surtout tous les repas au restaurant «le Fleury» ce sont des souvenirs qui comptent. Maurice FAVIERES EX: RTL et EX: Jeux de 20 heures

Restaurant sympa
Je suis arrivée par hasard dans ce restaurant… c’était très bon. Cuisine très fine et délicieuse; le patron très sympa est venu discuter avec moi quelques minutes et c’était très intéressant… j’espère une bonne continuation pour ce restaurant, et je pense y revenir ! Rien que pour une petite conversation avec le patron !

Diner au Fleury
Très bonne table, mais rapport qualité prix on peut trouver nettement mieux dans la région. Accueil agréable. Le seul soucis service trop rapide, nous n’avons pas le temps de déguster les plats que le suivant est déjà là. Dommage.

Déjeuner au Fleury
Je suis rentré dans un restaurant au cadre magnifique de superbe tableau qui irait bien dans mon salon après un repas délicieusement agréable tant si bien le porte monnaie que les papilles j’ai retenu le nom du directeur adjoint il s’appelait Cédric. Un consail si vous passez par Beaune allez dire bonjour à Cédric.
