The local ‘municipal’ course in Biarritz. Like everything in an socialised country, there will be an option for the masses so this is your ‘no membership, pitch up and play’ golf course. The only difference is that it’s really nice! We went there and borrowed a couple of clubs (for free!) to go hit a few balls on the driving range (€ 10 for 10 buckets). Those 10 buckets lasted us several days and when we were bored hitting balls we borrowed a few puts (again for free) and practised on the putting green just outside the clubhouse. The facilities are really nice and modern, and sit in beautiful surroundings. There is also a restaurant attached which overlooks the putting green and the tee off for the 1^st and 10^th hole. Well worth a visit if you’re in Biarritz!
