I had never had la socca until I ate at le Lika in Biot, France. It is chickpea pancake, shaped like a crêpe, and served hot with pepper. It was so delicious, and I remember gobbling it up quickly — I couldn’t keep my hands still. They kept gravitating towards the delicious socca. le Lika has excellent service, a wide variety of local dishes such as Ravioli and Saltimboca, and great patio to hang out on on a hot afternoon. They serve ice-cream in the afternoon, and open for dinner around 6 or so.
