Thanks Unilocal!Good solid Italian restaurant in Cannes. We Had seafood pasta, penne with eggplant, salad with shrimp and octopus potato starter. All were done well. Excellent desserts. Atmosphere was very nice (we sat inside where there was air conditioning). Décor was modern Italian with cinema photos. Nice service also.

What a nice find while walking in the area. We opted to sit inside and with heat that morning, it was a good choice.
The restaurant was decorated with old photos that were interesting. The waiter explains to lunch options that were not listed on the menu. We selected a cheese and ham plate to begin and a couple pasta dishes that were great. The fresh basil was wonderful.
The beer was very cold and several Italian families were dining as well.
We were impressed and would easily return when we are in the area again.

Great Italian food in France. We came here after a few days in France and we’re in the mood for Italian! We sat outside which was great for people watching. The service was great, friendly and pleasant. The wine selection was also good and he even put our red wine in an ice bucket to cool it a bit since it was a bit warm out

Absolutely loved the food and excellent service we had! The veal piccata was delicious; as was the spaghetti alle vongole. Our waiter was attentive and I would definitely go back there !!!

I had a great first meal of fresh pasta and rose wine with my wife on our honeymoon. Charcutterie plate with buffalo mozzarella is a must. If you haven’t had real Mozzarella di bufala, you must try the real stuff.

I’m beginning to think that Cannes is one of the best places in France for Italian food. La Libera proves that. My husband and I came here on a weekday afternoon without having to wait. I ordered a creamy pasta with speck and zucchini, while the hubs ordered ravioli filled with spinach. The pasta was homemade and sauce absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and done to perfection.
Service was really friendly and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes.
I really recommend this restaurant!

Tout simplement délicieux, les pâtes cuites à la perfection (j’ai pris celles à la sauce tomate, aubergines et mozzarella: un régal!). La viande est aussi très bonne bien qu’elle soit arrivée davantage bleue que saignante. Le gratin dauphinois qui l’accompagnait était un peu petit mais très bon, très fin. Le service est très agréable et rapide, compte tenu de l’affluence, ce qui est également un point positif. Bref, je recommande si vous cherchez un bon italien!

Une trattoria a tester si vous chercher un resto italien sur Cannes.
Suggestion du jour: linguine a la sicilienne (anchois, câpres, olives, ail, tomate) un délice à 13 €. Mon homme lui a choisi des pates fraiches a la crème de truffe blanche, assez lourd a la digestion (généreux en crème !) 18 €.
Les assiettes sont copieuses, les desserts également, gâteau au chocolat et amandes, tiramisu, tarte aux pommes… Ils sont bons mais pas extraordinaires. 8 € le dessert a la carte.

This tratorria is right below our apartment and we are so lucky! We go there at least twice a year (to Cannes) and this restaurant is always a must go to. The staff is friendly, the location at night amazing with street entertainers coming by to regale you with their talent. The food amazing. We stay at vrbo 112 845 right above.

Très bon accueil italien. Beau décor, bonne ambiance, mais la cuisine n’est plus ce qu’elle était il y a qq années. Evitez l’escalope de veau aux cepes, cepes qui trempent dans une crème fraîche bien blanche. Et bien fade. Raviolis noyés dans une sauce tomate et crème fraîche. Plus près de la Normandie que de l’Italie. Prix trop élevés pour cette qualité.

la préparation des pâtes est excellente, qu’est ce que c’est bon !, une vraie cuisine italienne sublime, le service à l’italienne est parfait, attentionné, rien à voir les trois usines de Nice qu’on connait tous, Villa d’este, Voglia et Favola. aucun intéret. Ici, Les pâtes sont succulentes, quelle que soit les préparations, pas de pizza, le vrai restaurant italien; je n’y suis allé que deux fois depuis que je suis installé dans la région depuis deux ans mais cela fait aujourd’hui partie de mes favoris après avoir fait le tour des autres restaurants italien du 06;
