Supermarché Casino

For Cannes it was refreshing to find this place. Their alcohol selection is pretty expansive, wine from all over as well as a large variety of beer. I didn’t spend much time roaming the aisles but the place as a whole seemed well stacked. Staff wasn’t necessarily friendly but it wasn’t anything I would complain about. Just get in, get what you need, and get out. They also have a great selection of made food that ranged from the local pâté to basic chicken and the sushi bar was good for supermarket sushi. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Cannes and trying to get the essentials for your trip.

If you are American, do not go to this supermarket; they do not want your money. I know this because of the way the cashier treated me as I paid for my items. I didn’t have my own bag (a big no-​no) for my groceries. The clerk didn’t offer one until I asked, and even then only gave me one bag, when I clearly needed two. The patrons behind me took the clerk’s lead and proceeded to push me aside as I bagged my items (the clerks don’t bag). After being treated like dirt, I swore never to return to Supermarche Casino when I come back to Cannes again, as my job as a film critic brings me there annually for the festival.

Le plus grand supermarché de Cannes avec le Monoprix. Très grand choix de produits avec un rayon traiteur, poissons frais, fruits et légumes épicerie fine et internationale. Les prix sur certains produits sont un peu élevés mais cela est propre à Casino et à la ville.
Ferme tard le soir, ce qui permet de faire les courses en fin de journée.

I did not either notice blatant difference concerning the prices in this supermarket. Maybe I have to be more carefull on labels prices then!
A little bit off-​centered supermarket of the center of sticks but with a free parking lot at arrangementof the clientele what is rather practical.

Etant toujours à Cannes, il est cher, mais bien moins que le Monoprix et le choix est très important, très grand rayon fruits et légumes, et un peu de tout

On pourrait se dire: oui, bon. Un supermarché tout le monde connait, à quoi bon donner son avis? Et bien tout simplement parce qu’il peut être utile de savoir que ce supermarché est hors de priiiix ! Au niveau du choix en revanche je né vois pas grand chose à redire, il y a deux espaces réservés aux produits normalement référencés dans d’autres pays (un bonheur de retrouver les fameux Digestives anglais ! Du beurre de cacahouette crunchy ou creamy pour les amateurs ou encore des épices et produits orientaux tels qu’une préparation pour falafels (et c’est bon!!) il y en a pour tous les goûts et toutes le bourses ! … ou presque) Un seul regret je le redis, la note reste trop salée un peu couru à Cannes mais tout de même !
